"Stayed here for two nights. It is easier to list the bad points only there weren't any. Exceptional find for the price and facilities. There is a bus stop right outside for buses to Gloucester, Ross on Wye and Hereford so I left my car in the car park. Behind the hotel is a copse with paths leading out into the Gloucestershire Way and ideal for a before or after lunch/dinner stroll. Just thought of one minor issue, the stairs up to the bedrooms (which face away from the road) are a bit steep but straight, well lit, hand railed and negotiable by most. Great stay!"

Went for the curry and it was really tasty with lots of sides. Not to spicy but had a little hint of the hot stuff which is enough for most normal people.

Our first visit here I doubt it will be the last. A really friendly place, good food in ample portions with plenty of parking. Great value. What's not to like?

I can't praise this Inn highly enough! Everyone is so warm and welcoming. I stay regularly and feel like one of the family. Its lovely to know I can relax after a long day with super home cooking, very comfy accommodation and a lovely chat.

This restaurant was a pleasant and friendly place to visit. The woman working behind the bar was charming. The food was standard "pub food", decent but not high-end dining. We had a good experience and thought the food was great value, especially the OAP menu.

We stopped by this evening and were greeted with a warm and festive welcome. Four of us gathered for a meal. The food was hot, delicious, made with high-quality ingredients, and served in generous portions with a friendly smile. We had a great time and will definitely be returning as well as recommending this restaurant to others. View menu

We live locally and my daughter has always wanted to go as she’s seen the park from the road. It didn’t disappoint. Friendly staff who were polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely and clean, park well maintained and an overall welcoming atmosphere. The food was yummy, big portion sizes and well cooked. We’ll be back !

Arrived on a Friday (4.30pm) for food expecting the kitchen to be open, however was told food not available until 6pm. Waited and ordered and our choices came quickly. The Lasagne was full of oil and hardly any pasta, the meat was so minced it reminded me of the sort you used to get in a tin. It was awful. I did enjoy the garlic bread and the salad ! The language being used in the bar area (by customers) was quite distasteful and uneccessary. All in all after a long day travelling my opinion of this pub is far from my last visit when living in Gloucester.
