"I’ve been really excited to try this restaurant after hearing amazing things about it and seeing how good the food looked advertised. While it was nice food, I was definitely expecting more for the price point. £10 for a smaller than expected portion of burnt ends which were “okay”. Overall we left feeling a bit disappointed with the amount we paid and the result we got. We are happy to pay for a nice meal out when it delivers and unfortunately they didn’t that evening."

Tried to book several weeks ago and this is not authentic Korean food : chicken and beer are the best.

The food at this restaurant is exceptional. It's the best meal I've had in a long time. I will definitely be returning.

The Korean chicken wings were to die for. Butternut squash salad was a little small. Fries were awesome as were the burgers. View menu

Lovely small (yet perfectly formed) restaurant with unique food that should cater for all tastes. Not somewhere you could eat (or afford) every night of the week buyer a great place for those right occasions. Really friendly and helpful staff.

The meat was good quality, but the overall experience was not worth the price. The meal was extremely expensive, especially considering it was not a fine dining establishment. We were not satisfied with the portion sizes of meat and felt that the side dishes were overpriced. For just mains and a few drinks for two people, the bill came to £114.00, which we found to be outrageous for a restaurant that felt more like a casual cafe. We will not be returning.

"After never visiting Canterbury before we where looking for somewhere to have a late lunch, we came across this place which looked ok, upon entering the back room we were offered to take a seat in the front area and someone will be with us. We asked what food there was and we where sarcastically shown the food on the blackboard, after choosing what we wanted the polite man went off and put the order in. We did feel that because the man had asked a couple of questions to another member of staff that he was spoke down too a bit. Anyway after placing the order and what we wanted the food came out it wasn’t correct but because it seemed like we were going to interrupt the people in the back room we just took what we had. It was nice food though. When we went to pay we hadn’t noticed that there wasn’t a price list so when we asked for the bill we were told that it was donation, what we thought was enough, it wasn’t posted anywhere and it took us by surprise as we where standing at the till, I was going to pay in cash but was told they don’t take cash so I had to give my donation in card by telling the person how much we where donating. After plucking a figure out of air as we wasn’t prepared we paid and left. Upon leaving we felt that the person we paid thought we hadn’t paid enough and wasn’t happy with the amount but after working out what we would have paid properly we worked out that we had paid more than what it might have been if there was a proper price on everything. Overall it has a great ethos and it’s great for giving people the experience that they need to be in a working environment but they need to show the price or tell customers first that it’s donations and card only."
