"I am coeliac and was badly glutened by this restaurant. The waitress provided me with the allergen list, however it did not match the current menu (a legal requirement). I chose a lamb shish as in other restaurants this is has been a safe choice. I asked the waitress if this could be made gluten free- for example without the pitta bread. She went and checked with the chef and came back confirming the dish would be safe, and they even had gluten free bread. Someone else in my party ordered the same dish but 'normal ' and when they arrived, my plate had clearly different bread on so I felt safe to eat it. I suspect the bread was not actually gluten free because within a few hours I was very unwell and, 11 days later, am still not 100%. The rest of the dish was meat, salad and potatoes so bread is the most likely culprit. I tried to phone the restaurant the next day to alert them- no answer. I email instead- no response. This is frustrating as they may now continue to serve unsafe food. I would not recommend eating here if you have allergies or coeliac disease. For everyone else in my party, the food was excellent, very tasty and the service was otherwise good. It is a shame they cannot get the allergen part right."

It felt just like being in Greece! We enjoyed some ouzo, cocktails, and octopus, along with a selection of small plates. The atmosphere was wonderful and relaxed.

1. You can 't call it 'catch of the day ' if it 's fish from a VACCUM PACK which I can get at the supermarket. Not at all fresh! 2. Was told 'fish of the day ' was a whole sea bass and was served 2 mackerel fillets....

Hidden away on the first floor, you will have to seek it out! The restaurant has lots of charm and a good range on the menu. We chose a selection of cold starters, hot starters and a salad to share. It was delicious and very... View menu

We intended to eat here at lunchtime. The restaurant was totally empty except for a waiter leaning on a counter and someone behind another counter. The waiter started to seat us and we asked for a different table as we both were carrying shopping bags...

There are downsides to the restaurant, namely the slightly chaotic service and the cramped location having a fridge behind a seated table is daft. There is a cold draft constantly swarming the small restaurant every time the door is opened. The good news is that... View menu

This charming Greek restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. It boasts the best Greek wine list I have ever encountered. The food is fantastic, and the service is excellent. They also sell deli items. The dishes are fresh, wonderfully seasoned, and the atmosphere is relaxed, allowing you to enjoy your meal without feeling rushed.

Found this restaurant by chance after attending a theatre matinee, everywhere else required a reservation, however, we were able to get a table for 5 as a walk in. The service was very good, they even went as far as to give us a free shot each. Food was good we had lamb souvlaki, calamari and the other 3 had catch of the day which was sea bass. This was a whole fish. Two of us had Galaktompoureko for dessert, however, they did not have the promised clotted cream ice cream. No reduction in price though! However, we felt that it was over priced, it is in a touristy part of London so this was probably to be expected. The wine we had was £43 a bottle and it was average.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
