"My partner, our toddler, and I went to this restaurant for breakfast the other morning. The service provided by the owners was excellent and our breakfast was served quickly and hot. For less than £10 each, we received a large breakfast along with a cup of tea or coffee, which was a great deal. The sausages were delicious, and I was able to swap the tomato for extra toast. Additionally, the hash browns were served on a separate plate. The portion sizes were very generous as the plates were huge. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place for a satisfying breakfast."

During the Coronavirus shutdown, this restaurant is offering takeout options. We ordered one regular cod and chips and one gluten-free option, both of which were delicious.

Absolutely fabulous. We had Chilli Burger n chips, sausage and chips, scampi n chips and chilli con carne all meals were absolutely lovely, we live in Drayton and even after going to collect the meals were still hot and tasty when we got home. Plenty of choice on menu, if you can’t find something then you are simply fussy. Will defo be going back. Thank you again.

We recently visited our local restaurant under new management, and it was such a delight! We received a warm welcome, enjoyed the great atmosphere, and were treated to fabulous live music. They even have a pool table! The drink selection, both alcoholic and soft, was impressive, and we discovered a new favorite gin. We can't wait to try their Sunday Roast next time! View menu

Under new management. The pub looks great after being refurbished inside. A lovely friendly atmosphere and very welcoming. Took the family for a Sunday roast after a walk around the farm opposite the pub. The roasts were excellent, very tasty and good portions (child portions available). The desserts were also excellent. Waiters were very attentive. A great experience and highly recommended.

Recently went on a Friday when they do fish and chips. Had the haddock which was well cooked and NO bones (a pet hate). They only serve two real ales which to my mind is excellent too many pubs have 6 real ales which are then flat and stale because there is not enough turnover to support that many.Had the Dizzy Blonde which was fresh and tasty, other publicans please take note. The landlord has recently installed a bike rack which is a nice addition to the facilities.

"Where do I even begin? The service from the woman behind the bar was shocking. When I inquired about dairy-free options for my son, I was told that nothing could be modified and that they don't cater to allergies at all! I pointed out the menu's claim that they could accommodate such needs, but my concerns were met with an eye roll. I then tried to order him some chips, but was told they were fried in the same oil as dairy and meat products, and since we are vegetarian, that wouldn't work. I asked about the vegan dishes, only to learn that they are also prepared alongside meat products, so there's no guarantee they would actually be vegan. At this point, my daughters had already become excited about eating out and the play area, so I reluctantly decided to go along with it and ordered three sandwiches on granary bread and a child's fish and chips. My son had a packet of crisps. When the sandwiches arrived, they were absolutely terrible. The cheese and onion sandwich consisted of two slices of cheap store-bought bread, some pre-grated cheese, and a few onion slices—without even a hint of butter! It certainly wasn’t inexpensive; we paid £45 for four soft drinks, three sandwiches, and a child's meal. As for the play area, it was concerning—there were sharp screws poking through the wood chips, loose sharp fixtures on top of the slide, and a large exposed electric cable under the swings! We decided to leave swiftly; it was such a disappointing way to end our holiday, when it should have been a lovely final meal before heading home. I was appalled by their attitude towards me—I felt like an inconvenience. The food was awful, and I genuinely recommend avoiding this place if you are vegan or have allergies; even if a dish is labeled vegan, they certainly don’t take the necessary precautions to keep it separate from meat products. It’s truly unfortunate, as the location by the river is beautiful, and we were all so excited to be there, but we left feeling very disappointed. We definitely won't be returning."
