"I met a friend for lunch and booked a table assuming there would be vegan options, even if it was just a salad. I asked a staff member, who appeared to be a manager, but she seemed unaware of what veganism was. She informed me that the restaurant does not cater to vegans, despite the menu stating that most dietary requirements can be accommodated. When I inquired about the possibility of making the falafel burger vegan, she responded rudely. After checking with the kitchen, she returned and informed me that it was not possible. The overall experience was terrible and I will not be recommending this place to anyone. Additionally, their contact email address is not working. This establishment is a joke."

The service was slow and the restaurant was very cold. The food was decent but not hot upon arrival. However, our waitress was friendly.

Went for lunch in-between Christmas and New Year so was pretty quiet. Service and food was good though. Not sure what it is like during busy periods.

The steak was difficult to cut and I was not initially given the proper knife. After requesting a steak knife, I still had trouble cutting the steak because it was so tough and full of gristle. It seemed like the steak was very old. The service, however, was quick and efficient.

I had fairly low expectations from this venue which is situated in Liverpool Street Station. But I needed to eat before catching a train and frankly I couldn 't find anywhere else available to book on a Friday evening approaching Christmas. In the event I was presently surprised. Inevitibly it was busy and fairly noisey with revellers but the food was well prepared and well presented. I had the naked burger option (meaning with salad instead of a bun) and the salad was much bettter than the token effort I expected. My cask ale was well kept though the choice of ales might have been better. Service was friendly despite the pressure of a busy crowd.
