"there were times when I was a positiw last resort at wetherspoons. I crashed the whole country. I never ate and thought after that wow, that was great in that did that opposite. this pub was up. a bit with the poorest. my wife ordered the 5 bohnen chili, the stodgie, unattractiw with the rice served in clumps and as the waitress said, we should have said running out toos as I ordered the fish and chips there is not so much chance on a dick above. the eating was tasteless, the service bad and because the staff mentioned the missing nachos, the waitress remained well from our table. we had no opportunity to complain. I really have to stick to my plan to never eat any other wetherspoons."

Visited with my sisters in Kendal. Always a great lace to get some good food and a quick drink. Curries were tasty and really good value. Always worth a visit.

Went into this Wetherspoons staff great food brilliant but unfortunately the pub was freezing cold. Last thing we want is to walk into a pub that’s colder than it is outside!

I drank in these pubs, but never before eaten and based on what I had just, I will stay on the alcohol. dry chips, bare steaks and exhorts that look like they were cooking all day. shocking.

Ate here for three evenings as we where staying close by in Kendal. Great value and good choice of food. Half the price of other eateries in Kendal. Service was functional and tables need more attention when diners leave. On the whole a good choice....Oder by the App for quick service

When my food arrived. It was cold in the middle. so surely someone hadn’t done there food checks before sending it out to the customer it took my 5 minutes to grab someone to ask for a fresh hot one. Within a few...minutes it arrived hot! When we ordered drinks we order a few hot drinks. When we questioned for them we was told to help yourself. Was not told this when ordered. To be honest some of the staff was a little rude.

"Staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. They were also very kind to our dog. We had drinks and food and though the drinks were good, the food was not. The words 'frozen ' and 'microwave ' were forefront in my mind throughout. The mash potato I had with my pie was face meltingly hot suggesting the microwave was used, and my wife 's battered fish was mushy and watery suggesting it was deep fried from frozen. The batter was also only about 1mm thick and was like wise mushy. The meat in my chunky steak pie was definatly chunky but was a little too firm (not tough, just not tender. Probably the wrong cut of meat rather than badly cooked). I then had the caramel apple pie as did another member of my party. While his was hot, mine was cold. I had mine with cream which when it arrived, had bubbles in and was luke warm. What I think happened was that mine was microwaved first and then drowned in cream and left to sit while the other was microwaved. This mean mine cooled in the cream while the cream warmed. It also meant that the pastry on the bottom went soggy, and from the rest of the pastry, it didn 't seem like it had much crisp to begin with. Now I know that times are hard and pubs like this can 't be expected to make everything from scratch, but there are 3 other pubs close by and unfortunately this one is doing nothing to stand out from the others, in terms of food anyway. Overall, a nice place for a quiet drink, but I 'll not be back for the food. The only saving grace was the price; £80 for 2 rounds of drinks (1 pint, 1 coke and 2 halves per round), 4 mains and 2 desserts...I suppose you get that you pay for though..."
