"The worst pub experience I have ever had. Never would I expect to feel so intimidated by a Member of Wetherspoons staff. Clearly very high on some A class narcotic. after the pandemic they have employed any Tom dick or Harry as the professionalism by the management is diabolical. I have never been treated with such malice by a bearded overweight manager w with the social skills of a dead octopus. Whom thinks people touching up their waitresses is more important than than someone taking 5 minutes late to finish up their drinks. I will take my awful experience to the local newspapers the violence and black aggressive eyes of the apparent manager/ supervisor was so diabolical I couldn’t even begin to explain clearly very drugged up. The whole experience was awful apparently I’m barred because I refused to leave before my extremely autistic friend was ready to leave. The aggression was unthinkable for a Wetherspoons I can’t begin to comprehend this attitude as someone who has worked in the industry for 25 years. The managers need removing with immediate effect their vile language and fight club attitude is disgusting. Tim Martin you are no longer ripping in your teacher or favourable comic book character. Sort your staff out because in my opinion you and your company has gone to pot because your employee in this instance is a vile bottom feeder"

Visited by accident for breakfast only just realised. Good breakfast nice and hot. fast friendly service. Quiet on arrival but very busy when we left. Was a bit dark in there but all round a nice visit.

Been here many times in the past But today saturday 2+9th May 2023 was first time since lockdown. Met at the door by a very nice lady who explained the system. We easily found a table and the same lady came and took our order....

This pub is in the heart of town and easily accessible. Nice area to the rear, particularly on a sunny day. The place has a relaxed atmosphere and the service was good. Toilets are upstairs. As always, the drinks are really excellent value.

Stopped here for a drink in their beer garden. As with all Spoons, great value for money. Shame the beer garden was littered with half eaten plates of food and empty glasses on many tables. We were there nearly an hour and only saw one person start to clear glasses just as we were leaving.

We just had a drink this time, although the food being served around us did look good! They have a nice garden and as the weather was ok we sat outside, so I can't comment on the interior. The garden is very nice and the drinks were up to standard. We ordered via the app and this was efficient.

We decided to try the moon and bell in loughborough For a change even though we are from Coventry. The food and atmosphere we’re really good and we couldn’t fault anything EXCEPT the company that joined us. All through the meal and drinks it was golf golf golf and my friends wife was just as boring. Note to self go on your own next time.

One if the best Wetherspoon pubs in the country especially if you are a real ale drinker. This superbly managed spoons has great friendly, knowledge and professional employees who make all welcome. The real ale selection is exceptionally good and extremely well kept, the pub as a good range of ciders and lagers together with a very vast collection of wines and spirits. The pub is a little tired in terms of decor and could benefit from a refurbishment Highly recommended by me

We visited our Grandaughter in Uni last night and stayed in the Premier Inn nearby. The breakfast offered at the PI was good but not for my specific health condition. We went to the local Weatherspoon instead. The building, like most Weatherspoons was characterful and best of all open at 8am. I ordered individual items for my breakfast whilst my husband had the tradional 'fry up ' plus coffee 's for both of us. The bill came to £8+. The cooked food was well cooked and a reasonable quality. The staff were helpful and v pleasant. What else could we want to sustain us on a long onward journey!
