"beautiful pub behind the big hitters of the southbank. this charming pub, flanked by the national theatre and the Oxo Tower, offers a beautiful charm from the nearby pubs. menu is well thought out with tapas style sharing plate and a great frying dinner to offer, plus a board of daily specialties. we chose the crispy chicken burger, which was sunk in the swan and the duck breast, which was tender and perfectly moist. would definitely recommend eating as a place from the nabenbub of the youthful southbank for a bite!"

Great menu, good selection of roasts (meat and veg). Only niggle, I requested cranberry sauce and none was available. A little pricey. Worth it.

The pub is fine and there was a large group of us but it did take a long time to be served. The staff were friendly and the venue has both indoor and outdoor seating.

Cute pub not too far from where I live and popped in before heading to the theatre.. decent beer and wine selection and had a few snacks from the food menu… I’d deffo go back for a few drinks, and if memory serves me well they show sport so probably head back from a few drinks and the footy

We popped in on the way to dinner yesterday. We were SO welcomed, the atmosphere was SO chilled, and everyone was wonderful. Great beers on tap, a beautiful gin selection, AND delicious coffee (I actually had a mocha and it was fab! . Thanks to the whole team for making our (all too brief visit such a joy!

Being just off the main tourist thoroughfare makes this pub a little more genuine feeling but it’s still a popular spot and understandably so. There’s a range of seating inside and a number of cosy spots, along with a small outdoor section and the ability to stand out the front. The staff are friendly, there’s a good selection of drinks, and everywhere is clean including the toilets. Great pub and somewhere you can easily spend a few hours relaxing in.

Popped in today after a visit to the Globe Theatre. Went round the houses looking for a Sunday roast and ended up here. Drinks; a good selection of beers and Ales plus the usual suspects. Staff were attentive and very friendly. The Sunday roast was amazing. We had the beef as the chicken was sold out. Amazing plate of food and so much better than I could ever rustle up. Highly recommended and off the beaten track so not too busy even when the South Bank is heaving with people.

this beautiful little pub has a relaxed atmosphere and a modern mood, but I really love eating there. the fish and the chips are massive, the fried tintenfisch and the breakfast with the speck and eggs are absolutely delicious. they should also try the cattleburger and the domestic fries (if they can wish for them instead of the thick in the others). there are also board games there, so if they have extra time in their hands, they can also play a bit while eating. this is a complete package.
