"This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. We used to dine here 4 to 6 times a month. However, the new staff seems to have a strong focus on upselling. We were recently turned away for lunch, being told there were no available tables but were offered high bar stools instead. Despite the restaurant being mostly empty with many tables still unoccupied when we left. On another occasion, we visited as part of a family group. While our drinks were served promptly, it took 25 minutes for someone to take our food order. It seems like there may have been a change in ownership, as there is a noticeable difference in the service provided. The most disappointing part was overhearing an elderly couple at the next table complain about their hard bread, only to be told by the waiter that it was supposed to be hard because it was sourdough. It would have been nice to see more effort put into making their experience better."

the menu in the old clubhouse is well marked. vegan or vegetarian options are easy to find and taste amazing!

I really enjoy this restaurant, we often go here for a delicious meal. It is definitely worth visiting for lunch, dinner, or breakfast. They also have seating outside if you prefer.

Cosy, comfortable bar restaurant with a wide variety of meal choices. The three meals we ordered were hearty, filling, and delicious. Service staff friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and accurate. We'll return. Good beer and spirits selection.

Amazing food, with a welcoming atmosphere and reasonable prices. I only had time to try the soup of the day, which was tomato, pepper, and chili - it was spicy and absolutely delicious. If you haven't been, you should definitely check it out!

As a personal habit, I always leave a 10% tip in cash under a plate for the waiter to find after I have left. I do not tip when prompted to do so on a card machine, as I believe it to be in poor taste and a discouragement to return to the restaurant. Overall, while I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant, the experience was marred by the quality of the food and the expectation to tip using a card machine.
