"eating is not too bad for the price they pay, and never really had to wait until it is long. the only problem that I have with the rectifier hzve is that they enter humans to smoke right in front of the entrance door as not smoker that I do not widh to go ghough these people smoke to win. So they think the owners of black and square pubs should see that named areas for smokers removed from the front doors. if this sorts my friends and I would use the pub more often when we live close"

"I had a fantastic meal at this restaurant with my partner and two grandchildren. We arrived around 5 pm, found a table quickly, received excellent service, and enjoyed delicious food. The portion sizes were generous. We will definitely be returning."

beautiful large pub with parking loads ( make sure to log their registration on the terminal once inside! I have not eaten here so I can not come to eat that they serve, but as part of the greene king group they will likely know what to expect, friendly staff and in my experience good service.

My friend and I regularly have lunch at the Rectory and for the last 2+ years have experienced Maria’s excellent service…she goes that extra mile to help us enjoy our lunch! Albeit on occasions food delivery’s are not always completed to the full she will organise something to cover the missing item! Truly an outstanding member of the team! Thank you Maria

The food is not too bad for the price you pay and never really had to wait to long for it. The only problem I hzve with the rectory is that they allaw people to SMOKE right outside the entrance door as a non smoker I donot widh to walk ghrough these peoples smoke to gain entry. So think the owners of faye and square pubs should look at having designated areas for smokers away from the front doors.if this was sorted my friends and I would use the pub more often as we live close by

"We found The Hungry Guest after looking for a brunch somewhere in and around West Malling and decided to try it after hearing mixed reviews. On entrance the café is lovely and welcoming, big and very well stocked with artisan style breads and premium teas and sauces for sale. We were served by a very friendly member of the team who joked and laughed with us and was very happy and welcoming. Also to note regarding the service every member of staff asked how we were today, even the staff member who brought us our food and drinks, and little things like that do make a place memorable and special. We ordered and the first negative was the price. For a sausage sandwich, cheese twist (which in fairness was huge! , Caramel mocha and a cup of tea the total cost was £17. The tea was £2.75 (for a cup, not a pot! And the mocha was £4.50! Thought that these prices were a bit extortionate but paid and tried to enjoy it nonetheless. When our food arrived it was presented in an okay manor, nothing spectacular, which was a shame because I expected something special for £6.50 for sausage sandwich... The food was okay, the bread was good quality and the sausages were very good but I still struggle to justify the prices! The atmosphere in the place to me felt like it was half full with people who were just victims of daylight robbery... I wonder why. If you're in the area and want a good quality yet small breakfast for a premium price this place is perfect for you. However I doubt I will return. I will reiterate though that the staff were brilliant. Parking: There is no car park attached and road parking, which is always very busy, or parking in a paid car park further up the road is your only option however this is no fault of the café."
