The Old Rectory - Menu

Had a brilliant time at the comedy night held at The Old Rectory last night. Held in the lovely function space. Staff were as friendly as always, great drinks and the place was very clean. Look forward to attending more events here

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. Emily provided excellent service and the food was delicious, fresh, and satisfying. The menu had a good variety of options to choose from. I will definitely be coming back again.

Most if not all members of staff myself and other members of the party spoke to was rude couldnt get us out quick enough and didnt have half of the menu, but they didnt tell us this untill we had ordered, so we got half the meals we were supposed to.

Poor sevice. Cold food, waited half hour for it. One plate had about chips another missed coleslaw it was meant to have. Overall really not impressed and so we complained to a lady who didn't help and was very rude. Gone downhill since new...owners have started...

we was there on Sunday February for a charity day. my daughter was shaving her hair off for cancer research .. we was lucky to be able to use the pub to hold the event. and on top off that we was able to...listen to The Real Band.. so keep up the great work Hannah and your team..

A wonderful place to eat such a beautiful building. Felt warm and welcoming on arrival the staff were extremely knowledgeable with the Gluten free menu. My steak was cooked to perfection and the Gluten free peppercorn sauce was absolutely delicious. Great value for money and...will highly recommend.

Terrible!. Went here with my family as was told the old rectory had been refurbished...yes the place looks nice but the staff are still rude and no sign of any management. I would suggest you need a manager and staff to reflect the nature of the business....customer service is really lacking...at least last year in the summer they had this right.

I can't find any fault with this restaurant. The service is always excellent, the food is perfect, and the value is amazing. We had two great meals, a beautifully presented side salad with a delicious house dressing, a pint of beer, and a large glass of white wine, all for under £20 for both of us (not each!). After a recent overpriced meal at a steakhouse, there is no comparison - The Old Rectory wins hands down. Thank you for a wonderful experience, we will definitely be making this our regular meeting spot and recommending it to all our friends. Well done, The Old Rectory!

Went late Saturday lunch. table Bit of a problem when ordering at the bar, bar person served gents who walked straight in, despite my standing there for mins. However a gent, noticed what had happened and came and took our order and...apologised, so not complaining about that. Just mentioning it as part of an honest review. He could not have been more helpful. Ordered signature hunters chicken, fish finger sandwich and some sides. Two soft drinks and a large glass of wine. Food delivered, all excellent, two sides were not hot, but waitress was lovely, took them away without fuss and we're delivered back lovely and hot. Food was excellent, Good quality and portion size. Meal and drinks total...
