"This is a truly amazing pub in Kennington. I recently held an event for around 50-60 people in the conservatory area garden at the back of the pub. The manager, Ralph, and his team were fantastic. They made the event go so smoothly. The drinks were great (especially the prosecco and wine, along with the wide range of beers). The space in the garden was perfect in the summer evening for drinks. I ordered lots of starters for guests. The chips, macc and cheese balls, nachos, squid and ploughman boards. All were fantastic. And the staff were just really great and friendly. Really recommend this pub!!"

Really gorgeous wee pub. Service was lovely and the food was great. So happy they had a case of Appassimento. And a pub quiz!

Great food here! I was starving. Hadn’t eaten all day. Ordered the burger and fries. The fries are so good. The burger tastes like it was cooked on a BBQ, a really unique flavour. Very nice staff. Thanks!

One of my favorite pubs in Kennington. The place I’d always return to whenever I’m in the area. It has a vintage vibe with mismatched furniture pieces and a tiny garden at the back, plus very decent food and drinks.

Worst sunday roast. The quality of food is low. We order beef sunday roast and the beef was raw. They replaced it but the quality of meet was poor. Even veggies did not taste properly. Glasses for bear were dirty. Would not recommend this pub.

We came here for Sunday lunch with the family in the summer, and the roast dinner was out of this world. However today (Feb 22) it wasn't that bad, definitely not to the taste of last time. We will be back again as we know what they can do. Maybe just a one off bad day.

Always great service and choice of beverages. Sad to see our Irish Nicki depart ways, but life keeps moving. The outside garden area is still very quaint with the perfect amount of leg room for each private booth area. A very British almost medieval feel lingers throughout which is why all my travelling buddies are taken here for a planned visit. However, I'm always going to miss the doll collections on the shelves.

Popped in for a Sunday roast and was very impressed! Staff really friendly and welcoming, and a good range of beers. Sitting by the window with the rain pouring down was cosy. I had roast pork belly which was a generous portion, tender and well seasoned. Really tasty gravy, and we were offered extra part way through demolishing our meals. A real contender for best roast locally alongside the Prince of Wales I’ll certainly be back.
