The Olive Tree - Menu

I've been going here for years. Best plants around and good advice if needed. Having a nice cafe with excellent foid is the icing on the cake.

Very slow service, over heated poor quality food. Waste of £24.75. It used to be good,whilst I'll use the garden centre I won't be back to the cafe again.

Needed something different to celebrate my birthday. So my friends I were given the lovely experience of a Prosecco breakfast at the Olive Tree. The staff were brilliant and, as usual, the food excellent. Thoroughly recommend trying it. View menu

Once again visited the restaurant, staff were excellent as was the food,such a good choice,we only had drinks and sandwiches which arrived in a matter of minutes,restaurant was very busy.would highly recommend this restaurant for the choice of drinks and food.

just had Tomato and pepper soup with cheese toastie. both delicious. toastie was gorgeous. husband had fried eggs bacon and 'chips '. but they weren 't chips they were small roasted potatoes, which were amazing. definitely need to go more regularly though a bit earlier to beat the lunchtime rush. After looking around the garden centre , we retired to the cafe , we only had coffee and cake. The scone and apple crumble cake appeared to be homemade and were delicious and the coffee was spot on. Whilst we were there some breakfasts were bought out to the table next to us , they were clearly high quality component , presented nicely . Consequently We are returning next weekend to enjoy brunch ourselves

What a rubbish cafe. Visited today and waited over 30 minutes for two panninies to arrive when customers who came in after us had their food within five minutes. I spoke to the owner but he couldn't care less about a complaint and said I had to remember they had had a busy week. No apology. Certainly won't be going again. Longhorn Farm Shop just down the road have just started serving lunches which are excellent.

I am disappointed to say that, despite the good food and reasonable prices, the cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired. I visited at 11 in the morning, just an hour after opening, and was shocked by the state of the restroom. Used hand towels were piled next to the sink, and the toilet I used was filthy. The lack of cleanliness in such a crucial area of a food establishment was concerning. It seemed that the staff were overwhelmed and understaffed, as there was a customer who had been waiting to be served while the employees were casually chatting.
