My friend and I visited Stratford for 4 days and visited the Elm twice. Absolutely can't fault the Elm. Very friendly staff, amazing food and excellent customer service. Highly recommend. We even helped decorate the Xmas tree

Nice pub, warm welcome, attentive service. Large glass of house white wine just about £10. Had two sunday lunches. Waited 45 mins at not a busy time. Veggies ok but meat sparse and overcooked and had to buy add ons to fill up the plate. Cost £25 does not represent good value.

We decided to visit this pub because of its wide variety of beers. It was located slightly away from the main tourist areas in town, which was a plus as it felt less crowded. The beer selection was great and the atmosphere inside was very inviting. We sat at a cozy booth in the back. The food was delicious, though not exceptional, and the service was a bit slow but very friendly. View menu

Highly recommend the One Elm. Everything was great, from booking, delicious food, lovely venue and great staff. I needed to find a venue at short notice for a large group for a hen party. Nothing was too much for this venue. Staff were friendly and attentive, the Sunday roast was superb, plus the added bonus of a really good live band! Couldn’t fault anything and we definitely will be back, thank you to everyone at the One Elm for making this occasion very special. I highly recommend this venue to everyone.

We booked this restaurant for New Year's Eve and we were pleasantly surprised by our choice. Although we are not familiar with Stratford, we were happy with our decision. When we entered, it looked like a traditional pub but we were seated in the restaurant area at the rear, with an upstairs section as well. We were provided with a set menu for New Year's Eve, which was a bit short, but the meals were cooked and presented fantastically. The service was prompt and the staff we encountered were polite and friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. If we ever find ourselves in Stratford again, we would definitely consider returning to this restaurant.

We had a fantastic experience during our New Year's Eve Sunday lunch at this charming venue. Right from the beginning, we felt warmly welcomed, and they even accommodated our dog, placing our reserved table next to the cozy log burner, which was absolutely perfect! Jess took excellent care of us throughout the entire meal. She went above and beyond, even bringing around additional roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings during lunch. The portions were generous, and I was impressed that my vegetarian meal arrived simultaneously with my friend's dishes, complete with vegetarian gravy. We've already recommended this spot to our friends, and we're definitely planning to visit again. View menu
