Visited for the Monday night quiz and had a great time. A very pleasant pub. I may well return for food in the summer as the garden looks very pleasant.

Provided location and buffet for a family funeral. Five star service, food was excellent and nothing too much trouble. Friendly staff made everything run smoothly. Would highly recommend Thanks Orange Tree Team

Our location for family funeral wake. Lovely buffet, speedy bar service, great food. Our group filled the area we were allocated and overflowed into the front bar, it wasn’t a problem. Yesterday, we enjoyed a delightful Sunday roast at this restaurant. The service was outstanding, and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. She definitely deserved her tip! The Sharers Platter we had was excellent and great value for money. The total bill for our Sunday roast dinner was very reasonable, and the food was amazing! It was the best roast I've ever had. I would highly recommend this place for a delicious meal.

The Orange Tree is a fantastic restaurant with excellent events and very friendly and helpful staff, especially Darrel and the manager Kris. I visit this pub weekly with my local social group for quizzes and most Fridays for their tribute nights, which have all been fantastic. The food is great as well. I highly recommend The Orange Tree and hope that they continue to hold events, as we will definitely be back again and again. - Sharon

I have dined at this restaurant twice now. The first time was excellent, so I was a little worried that it might have been a one-off experience. However, I was pleasantly surprised when the starters were once again excellent. We ordered the bar bundles, which were delicious. I then tried the fish and chips, which were probably some of the best I have ever had. The beer batter was thin and crispy, making the dish even more enjoyable. Visited late afternoon. Too many extras to pay for that should be included in the roast. The turkey tasted like it had been reheated and had no stuffing or pigs in blankets which were all extras. The lamb was mostly lumps of fat. No parsnips...another extra to pay for. Three really small roast potatoes, cubes, mint sauce out of a packet. Much better value and tasty roasts locally where the extras are included and you get decent sized potatoes at cheaper prices. Very disappointing .

Pleasant atmosphere . We booked a Christmas dinner/Birthday as I had not seen my son for a year and was really looking forward to it. The quality was very poor and disappointing . The gravy was cold and jellified , the veg hard, the pate...had a funny taste and we never even received the puddings even when they said it was on the way. The Kitchen had cleaned up. The disco was great. As in the advert a bottle for your Birthday not true so do not fill your details in on website. We did not pay for the puddings in the end . Not recommended very poor quality and wont recommend or return,

Well we use orange tree few times,as nice staff,friendly, Dawn manager is fantastic n she ran good pub with hygiene,service but tonight we noticed she not been here for few times and place has gone down hill especially in service as tonight we were waiting...for 20 mins that was to place drinks order,then few more mins to order,what we got was ok not great, my main the chips were hard, not much fish as its all was batter. My partner meal weren't great either as said sauce was runny, so our meal wasn't worth 37 quid n don't help that there was no 1 was around to say anything as they were busy so such a shame as we liked it here but not much now so another decent place gone due to staff issues...
