"We have been to this restaurant before and loved it , so decided to bring my husbands mother from Dorset for her birthday treat ,from, France my sister in law French brother in law . They ,and we of course, were absolutely blown away by the quality of the food, service, ambiance and value for money. Being French my brother in law has a very high standard of food and has eaten at many restaurants here and in France, he said this was one if not THE best. There was not one crumb of food left on any plate as it was so delicious,that’s not to say we were left hungry it was just soooo good. It really is a gem of a restaurant. I cannot wait for the next reason to eat here again and we were all planning our next event . I will be definitely there in July, if not before, for our 10th Anniversary we can’t think of anywhere else that could better it, we absolutely love it."

Fabulous meal here last night. Wonderful crab and corn soup followed by guinea fowl with girolles and a superb choice of English cheeses and delicious puddings. The cooking is wonderful and the waiting staff friendly and helpful. A gem to revisit!

A wonderful restaurant for a special meal. There is such lovely attention to detail that makes every bite delicious. We had a very special birthday meal with candles in our pudding. The service was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Thank you for making our evening so enjoyable.

I went to the soft opening for friends and family of this new restaurant last night. What a success! Top quality fine dining food the best I have eaten for a very long time served in a relaxing, comfortable dining room and washed down with excellent wine. I will be spending a lot of time here! we enjoyed a nice evening in the parsons table. the food was great, the ambiente was beautiful and all the workers were attentive to us all night. we would recommend this jewel of a restaurant, fine eating best!comliments to the chef! also a special credit to liz, which is natural warm and personal, seems through all diners.

We have three children under 4 years old and wanted to treat each other to a long overdue date night. We could not have picked a better place. A simple, unpretentious menu. Food that is fresh, tasty, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Wine, by the glass, great choice, the perfect accompaniment. Knowledgeable, super friendly staff and a great ambience.

I eat out 4 times a week all over the UK with my job role but the best meal I have had this year has been tonight! The quality surpasses many Michelin star restaurants I have eaten in and the service takes things to the next level. The staff are amazing, passionate about their great food informative but not overbearing this really is the total package and I will be back. I though Alex choice of wine and attentive service was worthy of special mention I hope you can let me know the vintage so I can purchase a case for myself.
