"Booked a table for six for my son-in-law‘s birthday. We were sat by the window unfortunately was really cold even though the heating was on the waitress did offer to put the blinds down to try and make it a little bit warmer. Staff were really nice. They seemed a bit busy did say it was very busy in the pub our drinks took 30 minutes to arrive, which, considering three of them were just soft drinks seem to take a while but I must say when the food arrived, it was absolutely lovely, were going to stay and have dessert but decided to pay and go as we were cold, but would definitely come back. The decor and inside of the pub is really welcoming."

We went the day before Fathers Day, so it was busy but not overly so.

First visit to this new pub as we were informed they served good food and a choice of real ales.

My bill was incorrect, however when it was pointed out it was corrected straight away. Lovely waiting staff, great food. Not too busy and felt very safe.

I was made very comfortable by the staff, which is important for a disabled person. As a family we ate at the Peacock a number of times during our short stay in the area. The food was very good quality at a reasonable price and the service was first class. View menu

Staff were very welcoming and our waiter was very attentive. Food was delicious, the starters, mains and desserts were all appetising and yummy. We were sat by a window as requested and we moved outside later on which was spot on. Lovely family evening was had by all, thank you. :

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and service at The Peacock. We stayed at the attached Premier Inn whilst visiting family, Bar staff for evening drinks were really kind and welcoming, Sunday lunch service was excellent and the food was delicious. I would visit again!

A wonderful pub restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and the staff were very sincere and helpful. It was definitely service with smiles. The food was excellent and hot! The sirloin steak was cooked as requested and is certainly recommended. The real ale was well kept and tasted superb. We will be back. View menu

On arrival there were three things requested from the menu that were not available. I ordered a steak medium well it was very well done. My friend ordered a well done which was so tough he couldn’t eat. I thought it was poor that a steak costing £21.95 did not have any garnish or peas with it. My husband ordered gammon and it was a pork chop!

What a lovely evening we had. We are a group of bereaved ladies and call our little group the forget-me-nots... the staff were aware and looked after us so beautifully. From our table which was tucked away right through to the superb and respectful and friendly attentiveness with the service. The food and perfect too! Thank you, I'm sure we'll return for many more little meetings.

"Visiting Crewe with my wife we decided to take an early lunch at Miller and Carter. Our choice of restaurant being influenced by an earlier experience at the Telford outlet. Receiving a warm greeting from Reception we were shown to our table by David, who was to be our server throughout the meal. The Fixed Price Menu seemed to meet our needs and we ordered starters of salt and pepper calamari and sticky chipotle chicken. The main course being two 7 oz Rump steaks, one served with a mixed salad and the other with onion loaf, tomato, and seasoned fries. Drinks comprised a glass of a very pleasing South African merlot and a Fevertree tonic water. The meal met with our expectations and the steaks (cooked medium) had just the right degree of pinkness. The dishes were well prepared, nicely presented, and the steaks in particular were full of flavour. Competitively priced at £16.25 per head for a 2-course lunch, or £19.25 if wanting a dessert, we thought it represented very good value for money. The restaurant gave out a pleasant ambience and the spacious seating ensured comfort in just the right setting. Mention should also be made of the washroom facilities which were as to be expected. Having spent a good number of years in Hospitality Management I could not fault our young attendant David, who we both thought performed his tasks to a high standard. Happy to recommend."
