the sunday roast menu is fantastic. it enjoyed our dinner very much. the dinner was more than just bark and yorkshire, some smart taste and very delicate meat. to complete it, large customer service. a real 5 stars pub.

Good place to catch a game (they even offered to change the channel on one of the TVs in order for me to watch my team) but otherwise fairly devoid of charm. Got a good dose of attitude from the young barman when I dared ask for advice on what cider to choose.

Traditional bar which has a lot of versatility to it, serves good food at a reasonable price. Has offers on at various days of the week. I had a risotto there which was splendid. My friends and I went to Penny for drinks one evening. The new manager, Harry, was running the whole floor by himself! He was extremely polite and attentive, even though he was the only staff member working. He handled some disruptive customers perfectly. We had a fantastic time at Penny and I would highly recommend it to all of my friends.

One of our favourite lunchtime hangouts. You always get service with a smile, and food is reasonably priced and good quality. There’s always a selection of guest ales on offer, and they do a great Sunday roast one of the few places locally that will accommodate a larger group without having booked your roast days in advance. Can highly recommend.

I had a great experience dining at this restaurant last year, so I decided to come back tonight with my partner. We both ordered the loaded burger and were impressed with the quality for the price. The burger was well cooked with a variety of delicious flavors. The service from the dark haired waitress was exceptional as she found us a table and even offered us a complimentary dessert. Overall, it was a wonderful meal and we were not disappointed. View menu
