"I felt hungry and my dog decided to stop the salutation that looked like a friendly country pub. when I entered the road, I could hear a group of older men complaining about the number of foreigners who presented the reorientation. I asked. a surly victor type of mildew if dogs were allowed. Why don't you go in and find out was the kind answer. not the debt of the pubs, but there was a general hostile attitude - much the same as in an old western stood off! there was only one vegetarian option and I wish I had read the menu! I went to the garden with my coke that was flat. Ten minutes later, my food came out. a very strange mixture of cooked carrots, picked carrots and gurks in an salat dressing among the carrots. I ate a little, but it looked out and tasted revolting. I left the greatest part of it and went what is a first for me! I was wondering if this was a sweat for vegetarian, like the jagdland. However, I was most surprised by the hostile reception as in a western film."

"Unfortunately really terrible experience today. Went with my two sons and our family dog. My youngest fell off the playground and was screaming. Naturally I went to him to pick him up and comfort him. The waitress came over telling me off shouting how dogs aren't allowed and to get off. I had to then take her off away from my crying child as she continued to lecture me. We don't have a lot opportunity to go out as it's costly and genuinely felt like just going home and leaving the food the kids were sad and upset and confused with her and the situation became really nasty for no reason. You could see he was clearly upset and hurt on the floor and she expected me to just leave him? Really poor... wish I hadn't wasted the time or money on this visit."

"Found the Pepper Pot on our last night staying in the Cotswolds and I wish we had found it earlier. What an absolute gem of a country pub. If you are looking for a traditional country inn with a great atmosphere and fantastic food then this is the spot. The owner Andy and his family are so friendly and welcoming you feel like a regular. To add to the family vibes we had the absolute pleasure of meeting the mum Bev who was helping her family out for the week, she is a real character and one of the warmest people you could hope to meet. The food cooked by Andy himself is fantastic and exceptional value for money. I had the mixed grill which I thoroughly recommend, my wife had the fajitas, my daughter had scampi and her partner had the burger and everyone loved their meal. Thanks Andy, Bev and family for making our last night in the Cotswolds so enjoyable and memorable and we will definitely be back when we are in the area again!"

"My work takes me to Berkeley and the surrounding area quite often. Recently I stumbled upon the Berkeley Arms Hotel. I stayed for three nights in a single room on the first floor. I found the staff immediately welcoming on arrival (my thanks to Alice for helping me to my room with my luggage given that I currently walk with the assistance of a stick). My single room was exactly as I expected: cozy, tidy, with a TV, tea and coffee facilities, and a more than adequate ensuite shower and loo.I ate in the restaurant for all three nights and found the food to be delicious, clearly prepared on site, and wide enough a menu for the longer term traveller.Based on my experience I will definitely return to the Berkeley arms which, in summary, offers a restful nights sleep in quiet surroundings with friendly staff and good food to boot.Thank you Tracey and Alice can see you again soon."

"Just stopped by whilst out on the motorbike. Totally unplanned stop but decided to have lunch at this out of the way place, turned out to be a great stop off and the best pizza I've had for a very long time, cooked on a wood fired pizza oven, a very unusual rural setting for a pizza and Mediterranean restaurant/cafe It's a very laid back joint and food comes served in a box with wooden cutlery etc very eco based place if you're looking to keep Greta happy, can't fault the food, service and setting..Highly recommend man...lol. The guy that posted 4 days ago giving 1 star ago should open his eyes, the big building down the track on the left is nothing to do with it. One thing could do with improving, the toilet needs a hygiene sign telling people to leave it clean!!!! Cleanliness is next to Godliness!!!!...Posh folk with Bentleys expecting silver cutlery will not be happy though.. Vegetarian options: Plenty of Vegetarian options"
