This is a regular haunt for a beer or two, the food is good as well. A friendly atmosphere and a great place to enjoy a few hours. Would I use it again....well yes I am a regular.

Equal best pub in the country, jointly with its sister pub, the Butchers Hook in Thornbury. You can drink its own cracking craft ales, and eat ham, egg and chips from its own pigs, hens and potatoes. Heaven is here.

We broke our journey here just before Christmas looking for a quick lunch. The food, drink and service were faultless. Ham, egg, and chips, simple food cooked well, all locally sourced, can't beat it. We'll be back. It was just what we were looking for....Fantastic.
