"This is the second time in 4 weeks that I have had Sunday roast here and both times were really really nice. On both occasions we were 4 kids and 4 adults. The staff were super accommodating and helpful. We had beef brisket and the kids had fish and chips. Nothing seemed to be too much for the waiter serving with us who went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He even went off to find something for my fussy lad who wanted chocolate sauce rather than caramel which wasn't even on the menu! We shall be going again! Also to top it off they have a really gorgeous sunny beer garden with fabulous valley views."

This pub food is grossly overpriced. Silly money for poor quality food. Shame because staff and facilities are good. Never again.

Stopped in for a coffee and ended up having a bite to eat. The faggots were fantastic. Would thoroughly recommend. Great venue that welcomes dogs.

Enjoyed a delicious roast, price was slightly higher than average but beautifully cooked. The staff were helpful and Front of House Paul was attentive and funny and made the whole experience perfect.

Fantastic trip to a local pub. The pub is in a lovely location with great views. The staff was quick and friendly and the menu choice was good. Drinks and food came reasonably quickly. Overall, a very good visit and highly recommended. View menu

Great beer, great food, friendly service and reasonable prices a winning combination in the Stroud Valleys. Why can’t Cotswold pubs be like this? Sound and unfussy pub lunch overlooking the lovely Toadsmoor Valley. Will definitely be back

This is a really nice old pub in a fantastic location. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the beer and wine are very good. However, the food leaves a lot to be desired. I would definitely go back to the pub, but definitely wouldn't eat there again!

Best views , best beers famous for Guinness and Stroud Budding , better than the brewery ! Lovely beef Sunday roasts, and a delicious battered haddock baguette ! with excellent home made tartar sauce . The staff are really good , friendly and helpful . It’s great for kids and dogs . The views over the village and Toadsmoor valley are beautiful from the dining area terrace and garden . Oh , and there’s all the sports on TV And live music ! Sounds good doesn’t it ! View menu

I stayed in Eastcombe for a few days, including my birthday, and I booked a table on a busy Friday evening. I had a very warm welcome from the staff there. Had a table with an amazing calming view. While travelling, I always order a Caesar salad anywhere I eat in the UK, and I was amazed by the first bite of their grilled chicken! You nailed it perfectly, guys! It was a perfect birthday meal (appreciate the small card with birthday wishes! Amazing atmosphere, interior and meals. Thank you all!

We were visiting the area and happened to stumble across this pub so we thought we would pop in. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The pub itself is lovely, big, and has a great outdoor seating area with stunning views . Good drinks selection and good service. The food was reasonably priced and tasted delicious! We felt that the portions were just right and we very much enjoyed our meal and visit to this lovely pub. We would certainly recommend and we will be visiting again!
