"I visited this restaurant on Saturday with my family to remember my dad on the anniversary of his passing. It was his favorite restaurant. I came back again on Monday with a friend, and both meals were absolutely amazing. The desserts were exceptional, especially the panna cotta which my twin and I agreed was the best we've ever had. The salmon pate was superb, and the sea bass and liver were also delicious. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal, and I will definitely be returning to this restaurant again."

A great stop on the Cotswold Way for coffee/tea break or lunch between 12-2. Good choice of value home cooked meals and very busy with locals. Don't be put off by road side appearance. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 View menu

The steak and ale pie at this restaurant is excellent. They also have a good selection of beer. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a rating of 5. I highly recommend trying their homemade steak pie.

The food was well cooked and the service very efficient despite it being busy. The pub windows overlook a Cotswold valley but the building, ambience and presentation of food were disappointing. It it clearly popular though. Nb dogs are not welcome inside. Vegetarian options: More than average choice and cooked well. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1 View menu

The food at this restaurant was of very poor quality. The lasagne was bland and tasted mainly of cheap cooking wine, resembling more of a Bolognese dish. The roast turkey was cold and clearly reheated, and the vegetables were soggy and limp. This is not what I would expect from a gastropub. The front of house service was okay. Overall, I would rate the food 1 out of 5 and the service 3 out of 5.

We have been frequenting this restaurant for 15 years and have never had a disappointing meal. We frequently dine in large groups, which can be challenging to please everyone, but the staff always manages to do so. The location is beautiful, and we will definitely continue to visit. The staff is always kind and attentive, though it is impossible to please everyone, they certainly try their best. Some people are just impossible to please. We thank the staff for their efforts.
