"Not usually one for writing reviews but this place is too good not to write one. We visited with friends on a Saturday afternoon. After a spout of bad meals in other restaurants we were nervous to try somewhere new, however The Poachers blew us away. From lovely (reasonably priced! wine, to the most amazing authentic Indian food any of us had ever tasted, this place was fabulous! It will certainly be our go-to and new local to visit. Thank you so much to all the staff and for the amazing cocktail tree (with sparklers! at the end of our meal. We will be back!"

Walked out after 90 minutes and no food, dreadful lack of service and care. Surrounding tables had also been waiting 2+ hours on main meals. Disgrace.

We had burgers (meat ones and a vegetarian one) and a steak. All were cooked to perfection and everyone cleared their plates. Lovely atmosphere and ridiculously clean. Really impressed Thank you!

Delicious food, loving ambience, Service excellent. The staff went way beyond to make our birthday party memorable. DJ was amazing too. Had a fantastic party and the guests were all raving about everything. Many Thanks

First time here and what a Great service by Nickel, and a great mixologist called Dom. Attentive and friendly gents.Always smiling, Will come back for more great cocktails before Christmas and have booked for new year.

Had a 40th birthday party here on a Saturday evening, everything right from food, service and the music was amazing. The whole group of 30 of us had the best time ever!!! Thank you for the staff to make it extra special!!

Absolutely dreadful! If k could give 0 stars I would! Terrible service. Rude staff. Awful food. The menu on the website is not what’s available in the restaurant. Shocking toilet facilities. Do not recommend. Will never ever come back. AVOID

Recently visited this place and the experience was amazing. The service was commendable especially aster who went out of the way to give us an amazing night. The food was good too. the Eton mess dessert was the star of the night. Definitely recommended if you want to have a memorable night.

I had a delightful time returning for another butter chicken with chilli and garlic naan. Nothing is too much trouble for these lovely people from bringing you a menu as soon as you sit down, quickly serving the food, immediately clearing the plates to bringing replacement pints from the bar. Really looking forward to seeing you again in 2024 with a group booking next time.
