"Very busy pub that serves great food and is dog friendly. Portions are generous, the menu is interesting and the beers are well-kept. It's a very busy pub, so booking is essential and there is a happy and vibrant atmosphere. The staff are polite and efficient too, so it all makes for a great night out. My only black mark is that the lovely food was served on cold plates. Apparently there is an issue with domestic rather than commercial electrics, but it didn't spoil our meal out. Parking: It gets very busy, so come early to get a space in the car park, otherwise it's first come first served to park in the narrow lane."

The restaurant is dog-friendly both inside and outside, with plenty of seating available outdoors. The service and food are excellent, and the menu, while typical for a pub, offers great options. It's definitely worth the price. Even though we brought our own water dispenser for our dog, they kindly offered us a bowl of water for Harry.

Vegan Roast Vegan Dessert This was honestly the best roast I’ve ever had in a pub, even before we were vegan! The Wellington was lovely and moist, the veg were perfect, and the gravy was lovely! The sticky toffee pudding was perfect too. Honestly 10/10! I wish I didn’t live so far away because I would be coming here often! Dietary restrictions: So much choice to cater to dietary needs!
