the staff was very helpful as I am disabled. I had fish, chips and muddy heaps. the fish and chips were fresh and muddy heaps were really not tinted

I was at lunch today and had one of the best steak-pies I had had sampi and cleaned the plate first-class meal times and pleasant young workers definitely recommended 5 and spot on real ales.

We were in there a few months ago and the food was lovely. We went in on Saturday 25.06.22 and it was really poor. It was overcooked and no one came out to even ask if everything was ok even though the place was not that busy. Disappointing to say the least

Nice staff good value for money. We ordered food and were told there was a 45 minute wait. This wasn't an issue for us and sat outside the front, in the sun, with a bottle of wine. True to their words, the food arrived 45 minutes later. Dog friendly too, so all in all, a good experience.

good live music. the staff could do with a certain education to find out who should be served next to the cash. the people went away from the bar after waiting to be served for 15 minutes! the majority of the bar staff seems to be young and inexperienced. but it is a good bar with a good atmosphere if they can get a drink.

Called in on a weekday evening. We were the only two in the place, apart from the staff. We both had steak and chips. Comes with onion rings tomatoes and mushroom.
