"The restaurant called to change our reservation time, mentioning that they were very busy. It was clear they weren’t prepared for the Father's Day rush. It took a long time for our food to be served, and several menu items were sold out. The waiter had to return multiple times to inform us that the dishes we chose were unavailable, including our dessert options. The food itself was quite disappointing, and the dining area is small and in dire need of an update. I usually like to support local businesses, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this restaurant."

Two adults, two children made a late minute booking for an early dinner while on holiday in the area. Staff were lovely. Food was great nice menu and arrived in time. Great value. Atmosphere was cosy but lively. We had a happy relaxed meal.

What a wonderful find! First time here, and we were both impressed by the food, service, and staff. The Goat curry was definitely worth trying. We will definitely be back as we both felt that the staff went over and above to make us feel welcomed. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 View menu

The Queen's Oak Itself was great! It was Open Table that let us down! No reservation appeared to have been made, despite my confirmation number! Fortunately the Manager was able to find us a table on a very busy Sunday lunchtime, especially as we had an 88 year old lady with us!! I am very disappointed with Open Table, and will not be using them again!!

Been here manys time , very good food and nice atmosphere. Sadly on this occasion we booked through open table all sorted or so i thought , within the hour the Queens oak rang to say they couldnt accomadate us as they where fully booked. Not sure where the blame lays here partly me for not booking sooner . Having said that the booking shouldnt of been comfirmed .Open tables fault or Queens oak ? who knows no explanation given Of course i would highly recommend and i will still visit
