Lovely waitress rescued my husband wallet when he left it on the table , so that just showed how brilliant the staff were. Fantastic food and value for money . Will definitely be booking again .

very busy Friday evening, but everything was well organized, with good service quality and excellent eating. live in the hope that one day it will be a house red wine, that is better worth for money, but that is the same where they go!

We had dinner here and it was a lovely venue with a cosy atmosphere. We chose the set banquet menu and the food was delicious and plentiful! It was excellent value. The mocktails were delicious too. This was our first visit but we would definitely return. Highly recommended. View menu

I went for a vegan option with tofu that had been fried. Tofu has a very mild flavour that relies on spices or sauce to gee it up. Unfortunately the flavour of this tofu was of old cooking oil, not even fresh oil! I didn't eat much so rather an expensive dish and when mentioned the waiter didn't seem too concerned.

once again, excellent aromen and good service, but one of our choices was not available (before 5 minutes after ordering), one of 3 meal times came well 5 minutes before the others, and there was a 10-minute gap between 2 desserts (the latter we canceled due to the delay). a light disappointment about our favorite restaurant in thame: obviously short-circuited in the kitchen.

this was a last minute booking for us as we decided to go to dinner for the evening, we were not let down. we had such a nice evening and were fully accommodated and well maintained. the food was so delicious and the love for the detail and the presentation of the food was brilliant. the food tasted so fresh and was served warm and contained a lot of taste. I can't mistake our evening at the rising sun, as the whole experience was so beautiful and we stayed with our full of delicious, warm, flavored food. we will return very soon if we are happy to try many other dishes of the very long menu.
