Fabulous family meal. The pub is in a delightful village. We booked it because it was close to the M40. We had never been before but struck lucky. Pub was friendly, accommodating with good service. The ribs were special and everyone enjoyed their meal.

We had a wonderful Sunday lunch at the Crown Inn. The roast beef was incredibly tender and was served with delicious vegetables. We then indulged in the sticky toffee pudding, which was absolutely amazing. The meal was great value for money and the service was excellent.

Having recently moved to the area we are trying out different pubs and restaurants, and The Crown is one of the best we have tried. From a very friendly welcome to delicious food we shall certainly be returning soon. We are just concerned we may end up going there every week! View menu

We had a great experience at this charming country pub, which had a cozy atmosphere and tasteful decor. We were happy to find that it was warm inside, especially after a chilly day. It's always a relief when you don't have to dine with your coat on! The menu may not be extensive, but it had exactly what we were looking for - steak pie for him and Thai chicken curry for me. The curry had just the right amount of spice, and it was a special dish that I hope becomes a permanent feature. The portions were generous, so we unfortunately didn't have space for the sticky toffee pudding. We will definitely be returning soon.

This restaurant serves the best ribs I have ever had! They were tender and flavorful, and the sauce was delicious. They also offer a tasty selection of local ales and lagers, as well as the usual classics. My friend enjoyed a generous portion of delicious fish and chips. The portions are generous, so don't be shy! Unfortunately, we were too full to try the dessert menu, but the starter of whitebait was substantial and tasty. We finished our meal with a delicious coffee and two LOTUS biscuits, all for a very reasonable price. Our server, Leah, was incredibly attentive and provided excellent service. I would highly recommend this restaurant to any food lover! We will definitely be coming back,...

Met friends for dinner here just before the easter weekend. Purely chosen on location as being the mid point with friends. Wow, what a find!!! my friend contacted them via facebook to book a table and get a copy of the menu definitely need to book in advance as they don 't open for food everynight and they have limited covers) and said they were very efficient at replying and sorting the booking. For a Wednesday night this cute little pub was really busy and there was a great atmosphere. The young girl behind the bar was polite and efficient.
