"We were warmly greeted by the staff as soon as we entered the restaurant, especially by the lady who welcomed us. We were seated at a lovely table overlooking the river and the food was excellent, particularly the prawns we had for starters. I ordered the sea bass and didn't realize it was served whole. I asked the waiter to remove the head for me, which he did quickly and filleted it at the table with exceptional service. Despite being too full for dessert, the staff surprised my friend with a small dessert with "Happy Birthday" written on the plate, which she found delicious and appreciated. We would definitely come back to this restaurant when in Cambridge. The only suggestion I have is to offer smaller sizes of steak on the menu as the portion sizes were quite large."

I visited with my partner for his birthday meal amazing food, great atmosphere and view over the river. Only slight glitch was queuing for the toilet and our server forgot our deserts (long wait as fully booked venue) but it was worth it for the lovely main meals.

Had a fantastic evening at this restaurant. The service was very friendly and they even remembered my name! The cocktail was the perfect way to start the night. The menu had something for everyone and the portions were generous - although I was too full to try dessert. I'll have to save room for it next time!

Had a lovely meal for our first wedding anniversary. Could not fault the service or the food had the Prawn cocktail to start and then the Ribeye Steak cooked perfectly. The potato wedges weren't to my taste as they were very chunky and tasted a little raw. Overall a lovely experience just a little on the pricey side but then you do have a lovely view if you get a table by the window!
