"it is worth starting with the fact that we visited it twice during our short london tourism trip. the 1st afternoon looked from the hotel and we noticed the building immediately. a great English pub! we really enjoyed the place. eat – delicious! me. I am not a big fan of burgers (i.e. 2x per year), but I ordered a burger both paints. also a steak was very good and a brownie cake. the location is near the train station vauxhall unrground. also a walk from westminster is quite short – it really is worth having this maybe-his 10min walk. I hope to be back to have more greene king something to eat"

Epic Sunday roast here after many years not visiting. As good as ever. Staff were excellent as well, good dining ambiance and tables suitably distanced. Already look g forward to our next visit!!

Always come back to this place. Our Sunday roasts were delicious. Friendly staff and they’ve done a lovely job with the Christmas decorations. The pub looked great! Keep doing what you’re doing. We love it.

The food and service are excellent and I would recommend the Rose as somewhere to go for a drink, but also as a place to eat. I would recommend the Lamb Kofta which was delicious. Really attentive and welcoming staff.

We were fortunate enough to arrange a trip to London and were able to visit The Rose for lunch. It was as terrific as we remembered. The fish and chips are marvelous. The staff were very nice and friendly. Love the atmosphere and view! Highly...recommend and hope we can return some day.

I went for drinks with my friend and after a couple of drinks we ordered some food. We waited for TWO whole hours before getting our food not even joking it was an actual 2 hours before getting any food. We complained a couple...of times to the staff and the only response we got was ‘we have a big table to serve first’. Basically, only come to the Rose if you’re a big party otherwise you’re going to be ignored like me and my friend.

Waited an hour before chasing up our food. How long can roast of the day take. Took another 15 minutes with four staff chasing. Food eventually arrived and was partially cold. Yorkshire puddings were cold and we were given free drinks to apologise for the...weight and when food delivered offered free desserts however we didn’t have another hour to spare. Overall a huge disappointment! We will not be back given we still have five nights in the area!

the rose is a nice pub, although the employees are usually quite rude and safe (I work in hospo and I am always a bit shocked by the customer service here), but whatever, not the end of the world. They have a great choice. Drink and I think the roast here are quite decent. the vegan roast is £15 and is the same as the veggie roasting minus the yorkshire (although they do not extra veg etc. for it) the roasted veg is always really good imo. hesitating between 3 and 4 stars due to the service

in london in business and visited here twice in 2 weeks. eating is not bad and it is actually quite reasonable for london- however. the personal is simply terrible! at both locations I finished my meal and before my server had left the table with empty tellers, she produced the bill. I felt like a criminal! Not everyone will run away and she was not only shameful that I immediately, but rather rudely settled with it! that was bad once, but twice tells me it's the norm and from this reason I won't come back - it's a shame because the place itself is pretty.
