"It's unfortunate that this restaurant has potential, being located in a beautiful market in a charming area of Bristol. However, that is where the positive aspects end. We were served drinks in dirty glasses, and the place appears to be covered in grime. The menus are old and sticky, which is quite unappealing. The food selection is uninteresting, with everything being fried in old oil. The staff are rude and pretentious, which is unexpected for a place that is not well-maintained. With the competition in Bristol, it's surprising that this place is still in business, likely due to its location in the market. I doubt they have any repeat customers. I would not recommend dining or drinking here."

Located in the heart of St. Nick's Market, this bar is absolutely fantastic. It exudes character, offers excellent service, and has a lovely ambiance.

Great atmosphere and welcoming staff with a roaring open fire. We decided to try the house cocktails which did nothing for us sadly, but cost £25 for 2z

We had a very warm welcome at the bar and a very warm seat by the large roaring fire. We had drinks here which were inexpensive. We will return when in the area again.

We went for a gin tasting session. It was a very good entertaining 2 hours in nice surrounding, very informative and great laughs. The gins are of excellent quality with some superb flavours. Really enjoyed it.

For an establishment that markets itself as a cocktail club, it was disappointing. The neon sign in the window was only half lit up. That should have warned us. The drinks are over priced considering the shabby state of the interior. We kept our coats on because it was so cold. Needs to be run by somebody who knows what their doing. Won't be returning.

We went for a gin tasting session firstly they forgot about us so we were a little late going to the room. The young man running the session seemed to be trying to show how he knew a few swear words and came across as vulgar and immature. He didn’t seem to have that much knowledge about the product. Ok if you are a teenager but not really for adults. Would not recommend.

My cousin and I had a fantastic time at a gin tasting experience. Henry was a wonderful host, sharing in-depth knowledge about Bristol Dry Gins and the history behind the spirit. The Bristol Dry Gin and tonic we were greeted with was delicious, the best I've ever had. Trying a variety of gins that I wouldn't typically choose was a lovely experience, as they were all fantastic. Thank you for the wonderful experience, and I can't wait to purchase some at Corks of North Street!
