"Came here a year ago and gave it a 4/5 the food was good but not mind blowing, and compared to the rest of Bristol I thought it was a bit overpriced. We revisited Tare this evening and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in the last year. Firstly, the food was fantastic. It was good last time but even better tonight complex dishes with plenty of unique flavours. Secondly, the prices actually seemed cheaper than our last visit, it was approx £70 for two people to eat 6 dishes 1 desert with some soft drinks. It was more like £90 £100 when we last visited. The service was also excellent, just like before. Definitely would highly recommend. It’s a small place so best for couples or a small group!"

Absolutely fantastic. If you want beautifully prepared food with multiple layers of texture and flavour this is the place for you. The paired wine was a brilliant complement and the service outstanding.

Most unbelievable food! We came here to celebrate my boyfriend’s graduation and we ate the 7 plate set menu. Every plate was heavenly I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! It made our whole day extra special, and the staff were amazing!

They smashed it out of the park one course after the next. Everything was beautiful, and an explosion of deliciousness in your mouth. I think I will forever dream of that corn taco and cheese tart. The service was excellent and kind, with a next level wine selection.

Outstanding food and service. Special shout out to the maitre d…i think (the male server). Super friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wines. Immediately made us feel welcome and excited to try everything. Loved this place. Not cheap, but well worth it. Check it out!

I had heard that tare was one of the best values for fine eating in bristol, but I think that sells the restaurant short. it is a jewel in his own right and does not need to appreciate any context. I thought the wee couples were quite inspired and eating was not only beautiful, but also delicious.

I only had a great meal in tare. every cure was delicious and looked beautiful. we were very well looked around and tried some of the wine pairings that supplemented the relevant courses. the atmosphere in the small restaurant was great and I loved to see the kitchen, to work her magic. I highly recommend tare!

a so wonderful experience. a first visit and we will come back in future. as soon as the inner and the door is closed, it is replaced by a calm atmosphere. the team is wonderfully friendly and very attentive. the love for the detail of food presentation is amazing and the aromen are phenomenal. we decided to join the weeping team to force us to try new styles that was a winner.

Such a marvellous experience. A first time visit and we'll definitely be returning in the future. Once inside and the door is closed the noise of the hustle and bustle is replaced with a calm atmosphere. The team are wonderfully friendly and very attentive.
