"We visited Tare on Friday night and enjoyed the seven-course tasting menu, which was absolutely fantastic. Every dish was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and expertly presented. We didn’t try the wine pairings since I’m currently not drinking, but most of the other guests seemed to enjoy them, and they received positive feedback. The service was top-notch, featuring a well-known sommelier, and our server was incredibly helpful throughout the evening. We had called ahead to inform them that one of us is lactose intolerant, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that they had prepared delightful dairy-free alternatives for us without any hesitation. Tare is truly a gem of a restaurant, and it’s one we will definitely make the trip to Bristol for in the future."

Absolutely fantastic. If you want beautifully prepared food with multiple layers of texture and flavour this is the place for you. The paired wine was a brilliant complement and the service outstanding.

Most unbelievable food! We came here to celebrate my boyfriend’s graduation and we ate the 7 plate set menu. Every plate was heavenly I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! It made our whole day extra special, and the staff were amazing!

This is a warm and inviting restaurant. I recommend booking in advance, as the place was quite full. They offer a fixed menu and have special seating options for dinner. The food was excellent, and in my opinion, it was definitely worth the price!

They smashed it out of the park one course after the next. Everything was beautiful, and an explosion of deliciousness in your mouth. I think I will forever dream of that corn taco and cheese tart. The service was excellent and kind, with a next level wine selection. View menu

Outstanding food and service. Special shout out to the maitre d…i think (the male server). Super friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wines. Immediately made us feel welcome and excited to try everything. Loved this place. Not cheap, but well worth it. Check it out!

It’s impossible to go wrong here; every dish was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. The staff was all about the food and drinks and were incredibly attentive. I also loved the cozy, laid-back atmosphere. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat!

I’d heard that Tare was one of the best values for fine dining in Bristol, but I think that sells the restaurant short. It’s a gem in it’s own right and needs no context to be appreciated. I thought that the wine pairings were pretty inspired and the food was not only beautiful but delicious as well. View menu

Such a marvellous experience. A first time visit and we'll definitely be returning in the future. Once inside and the door is closed the noise of the hustle and bustle is replaced with a calm atmosphere. The team are wonderfully friendly and very attentive. The attention to detail of the food presentation is amazing and the flavours are phenomenal. We opted for the wine pairing to force us to try new styles which was a winner.

Came here a year ago and gave it a 4/5 the food was good but not mind blowing, and compared to the rest of Bristol I thought it was a bit overpriced. We revisited Tare this evening and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in the last year. Firstly, the food was fantastic. It was good last time but even better tonight complex dishes with plenty of unique flavours. Secondly, the prices actually seemed cheaper than our last visit, it was approx £70 for two people to eat 6 dishes 1 desert with some soft drinks. It was more like £90 £100 when we last visited. The service was also excellent, just like before. Definitely would highly recommend. It’s a small place so best for couples or a small gro...

"Visited here in Sept 23 for an executive dinner that we were hosting for various senior business leaders. We booked out the whole venue, which was the perfect size and atmosphere for the intimate and exclusive feel that we wanted, plus a convenient location. The TV that shows into the kitchen was fascinating, and the record player was put to use towards the end of the evening! Caroline from the venue helped us organise the event in advance and was great to deal with. We were fortunate with the weather so were able to enjoy a welcome drinks reception out the front of the venue, and have the door open all evening to let the balmy night in. We had the 7 course taster menu and it was simply OUTSTANDING so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was, particularly the beef steak course! It was so tasty that I even enjoyed the fish dish (not usual for me! . Service on the night was exemplary, the courses were brought out at just the right intervals so you weren't waiting ages but also not being rushed. The chef came out to greet us after the final course, which was a lovely touch and meant we could thank him. Overall, we had really great feedback from our guests, everyone loved it thank you for making our event such a success! We would definitely book again, and I know a few of our guests have already recommended it to their own companies for executive dinners! Would not hesitate to recommend."
