"Let’s start with us walking through the door, wasn’t greeted properly at all by bar staff and told to just “sit over there” we had booked this in advance as well. Didn’t ask for name and wasn’t told how to order food had to figure that out ourselves. So eventually ordered and 10 mins later we got our drinks when they did arrive the drinks tray was left on our table with us by a male waiter. 25mins for our starters to come out after our drinks, we ordered 2 halloumi fries which comes with sweet chilli sauce, sauce was no where to be seen but at this point our male waiter had just disappeared. I have to mention ellice looked like the only person working that night you had bar staff talking doing nothing whilst ellice runs around. Our main meal finally came 20 mins after the starter my food coming first chips being stone cold and burger being warm my partner and brother had to wait an extra 5/10 mins for there’s, I told ellice about my chips and she said she could sort them for me and she’s really sorry I just stated it’s okay my burger will be cold by the time, again she was the only one around doing anything. we wanted dessert but had to order whilst eating main because of last orders, that wouldn’t of been the case if food was on time… dessert finally came and my sticky toffee pudding was hot and lovely yet the custard surrounding it had a skin on it as soon as it came out like it had been sitting there. Overall didn’t have a great experience but well done to ellice she did amazing for us so Thankyou."

Came for a lovely little dinner with my partner tonight, the staff made us both feel so welcomed the food was absolutely lovely! Thankyou so much we will 100% be back again For those wondering we each had a standard carvery and we had loads to choose from, we even had a cheeky desert wow I have to say the strawberry shortbread sundae is 10/10 View menu

We popped in here this weekend as it’s local to us, and it was great. It’s always a pretty pleasant place to stop at if you’re looking for a bite to eat somewhere a little more relaxed. The staff were working their socks off particularly a girl at the bar named Harriet who was really lovely and helpful, and I did remark that I didn’t envy her at all in this heat. All in all a nice outing!

We have visited the Sandbrook Stonehouse carvery now twice within a 2 week period. On both occasions we have made the last minute decision to go for a meal as a family of 20+ from older adults to baby’s and children with needs specific/fussy dietary requirement). First visit 12th August 3pm) we was accommodated for without prior booking) staff organised seats and made kitchen aware, nothing was to much trouble, tables cleaned, extra sauces for children all done with a smile. All the Staff we had dealings with where polite and friendly we were not a quiet group). We ordered from both the burger/ pizza bar and carvery, all our meals was exceptional and served together. So was it a one off.......
