This restaurant earns top marks for both service and atmosphere. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. The food was okay, but rice was uncooked, but the owner told us when we complained that it was cold and uncooked. She stated that it was a special crispy rice and that it is how it should be. I am Asian and have been cooking rice for 40 years, Perhaps I would have a better idea of how rice should be cooked, having cooked many many types of rice in those many years. This said the calves' liver was wonderful and well prepared. Price per person: £20–30

It took us 18 months to finally visit this restaurant, even though we live just 5 minutes away. This charming country pub has a loyal customer base. The food is excellent quality and reasonably priced. We tried the 5 for £30 tapas deal and were delighted with our choices. Most of the dishes were homemade and generously portioned. I can't wait to go back and sample more of their menu, and perhaps get to know the staff better. Overall, the average cost per person ranges from £20 to £30.

This country pub is a shining example of excellence. The locals and staff are warm and welcoming, with genuine smiles all around. The food is top-notch and reasonably priced, with a diverse menu that caters to all tastes. The pub offers plenty of space and excellent facilities, creating a proper pub atmosphere. After three visits, we can confidently say this will become our go-to spot, despite passing other pubs on the way. Highly recommended! And a special thanks for the mint and apple sauce.
