Called in to pick someone up and had a cod strip sandwich plenty on the plate really enjoyed with a cuppa. Been today really enjoyed the day's pie chips mushy peas and gravy, first class. Parking: Fair size car park , didn't count the spaces. Kid-friendliness: Always found the staff to be friendly. I came here for a birthday meal with around 16 of us, I had to pay an £80 deposit and was told that once receiving the bill I would be able to deduct the deposit amount off, or receive it straight back onto my card. However after getting the bill I was told that this was never said? And that it wouldn’t be possible unless the bill of mine was over the deposit amount £80) which for 2 of us it didn’t. This then meant that all my family had to work out their bills and send me the money prior to paying the bill as one, if we would have known this was the case we would have ordered out food items as each family’s meals not as a group. Apart from this the food and staff were great for a big party....

It’s unacceptable to see dogs lying on refurbished seats. I have a dog myself, but she eats from her own dishes. If someone put a plate on the floor for her to eat from, I would be appalled. Then, the head chef? came out and insisted that it was completely fine for the dog to eat from the plate. For those of us who value hygiene and decorum, this is a huge red flag—I will never return to this place. No senior management addressed the issue, but somehow I was made to feel like the villain in this scenario.
