"Was in the Newlands area one Saturday morning and had to make my way across to Cathcart, but was in need of a little lunch, and decided to pop in to the Slated Teapot. Nice little cafe tucked away, but sure of a great welcome, and a nice big menu where you are sure to find something simple to your taste. Cakes stacked high look out of this world, but maybe for another day as I ordered a coffee and a breakfast role. Will most certainly be back if in the area again."

Dropped in for first time got a warm welcome and lots of support in being shown menu and time/privacy to phone partner for list of goods to order. after ordering got to decide many details such as roll type sauce, extras bagged was a great service will 100% be back!!

I stopped by this restaurant for the first time while my car was being repaired. The service, food, and cleanliness were all top-notch. The owner and staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I highly recommend this place, as the prices are very reasonable.

I stopped by for a coffee and bacon roll. Lynn kindly made my bacon crispy just the way I like it. I have visited this restaurant several times with my family and we always have a good amount of time to browse the menu before ordering. I highly recommend trying the slate teapot if you are in the area.

Great wee cafe, opened a year ago. Popped in with my 3 and 5 year old after being at a nearby group with them. Nice surroundings, tasty food and lovely staff. Have been in 4 or 5 times since! Child friendly good choice of food for children, and some books etc to keep them occupied. Lovely coffee too. Would recommend a visit! View menu

Called in to collect lunch and coffees for three to eat in nearby Newlands park across Kilmarnock road 200 yards away. Junior play park across the road closed due to present restrictions.Servers in shop were pleasant and attentive Nespresso coffee served.
