A lovely example of an old English pub, we stopped for a drink on our way from Carlisle on the Hadrian's wall path. Excellent friendly service.

Phoned ahead and reserved a car park stopover, they provided plenty of space in the car park to fit our 12m skoolie, we had great food, a couple of drinks all with a very friendly welcoming host and locals
