Sterling certainly looks trendy and gourmet-ish. But the service is slow, the food is boring and the prices ridiculous.

I organised a Christmas work event at The Sterling for 70 people this month, and planned every detail with the staff, involving 2 visits to the venue and an View menu

the hotel is located at the lower edge of the iconic gherkin is the sterling a modern bar with a good atmosphere. look for the good happy hours and try the crispy Sharer tablets.

very pleasant, nice eating and a great place to eat at lunchtime. only the question was to get the waiter to bring the bill at the end that took old, also slowly to ask about desert and coffee.

star happy hour deals: 4pm-7pm on Friday – 2 cocktails for £10, bottle wein £12 and 2 beer 8 pfund. the sterling lies at the foot of the gherkin and is very popular and busy after work. there is a large amount of space inside and on the middle floor and the venue has a bright and modern feeling. they can or do not know that a few weeks back we ran a competition to win a meal and drinks for two in the sterling bar. our Twitter account went almost to melt in retweet. After we had to sit for more than 20 minutes, we had to go inside to ask someone to come and take our drink and food order (which is not new to the sterling, they know that it will be busy on a sunny Thursday/ Friday, why do they always seem underoccupied? . I would go so far that the staff has beaten people. drink lasted old would have been faster to go into the packed bar!
