"The setting is cozy, featuring booths on one side and regular tables throughout the rest of the space, with the kitchen located at the back. The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes at very reasonable prices, including delicious green and red curries, while off-menu offerings are available for those familiar with Thai cuisine. The staff at the Thai Cafe are exceptionally friendly and genuinely care about ensuring that diners have a wonderful experience. They take the time to connect with the local community, making everyone feel welcome. While there may be times when food arrives at slightly unexpected intervals, engaging in light-hearted banter with the staff turns this into an entertaining aspect of the visit rather than a drawback. Another bonus is that the restaurant is BYOB, with plenty of nearby shops and supermarkets to easily pick up drinks on your way in. Overall, the Thai Cafe is a fantastic little gem worth visiting — you certainly won’t be disappointed!"

I had a very disappointing meal here recently. Everything was excessively greasy and completely void of flavor. I ordered the green curry with chicken, and it had a texture that reminded me of rubber floating in milk. I would really recommend avoiding this restaurant.

This restaurant has transitioned from being known as the Thai Cafe to the Pimlico Cafe, named after the nearby Pimlico Underground station. It's a charming neighborhood establishment that offers delicious dishes at reasonable prices, as reflected in the meals we tried.

My favorite Thai restaurant in Pimlico! It's a cozy and quiet spot near the Pimlico station, run by a lovely family from Thailand. The Thai dishes are incredibly delicious and bursting with flavor, though the portion sizes are a bit small. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly, providing quick service. I highly recommend it!

This restaurant has a somewhat outdated ambiance, and the service was just average. However, the food exceeded my expectations. The main dishes are hearty and reasonably priced. I ordered the pad Thai as my main course and also had spring rolls. While I wouldn't specifically recommend this place, it is a decent option given the limited choices for Thai food in the area. What a fantastic find in the neighborhood—Thai Cafe! The food is both delicious and authentic, and the staff are consistently friendly. Plus, the prices are quite reasonable. While it may not be the liveliest spot (it seems everyone whispers to one another), it’s still a relaxing atmosphere, and they offer takeout as well. I'm really happy to have this place right around the corner!

My friends and I were searching for a restaurant in Pimlico, and we all wish we had discovered it sooner. We ordered spring rolls, tom kha soup, pad Thai, pad see ew, Massaman curry, and red curry with duck, and every dish was exceptional from beginning to end. Thai cuisine is my favorite, and this place truly delighted me! The service was outstanding, especially our server Ash, who was fantastic throughout our visit—friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely attentive. If you're on the fence about trying this place, stop hesitating and go there immediately!

I’ve finally found my new favorite Thai restaurant! To start, I ordered scallops, and for my main course, I had pad thai. The scallops were delicious but nothing exceptional. However, the pad thai was the best I've ever tasted in London! It was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection; I couldn't stop eating it. The atmosphere was simple, yet clean and inviting—not overly flashy, just a cozy neighborhood spot. The service was exceptional; our waiter seated us promptly and kindly informed us that two large parties would be coming in next to us, which might lead to some noise. He checked in regularly to ensure everything was okay. Overall, the staff was very friendly. I would definitely ret... View menu

For dessert, we sampled the coconut and green tea ice creams. The coconut flavor was delightful, with a lovely melt-in-your-mouth texture and bits of coconut providing added crunch. However, the green tea ice cream had a more sherbet-like consistency, and while it featured an interesting matcha flavor, the texture didn't quite satisfy me. When we arrived, only two tables were occupied, but by the time we left, the restaurant was buzzing with diners, creating a lively atmosphere! The waiter was very kind and offered to store our bags in a little room, which was much appreciated. However, I don’t plan to return. When I go out to eat, I look for food that excites me, and sadly, this experience...

The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. Their curries are both spicy and delicious! I'm not sure what they add to their dry green curry (maybe it’s better not to ask), but it was incredible—I usually prefer red curry, though their dry red curry is also very tasty. My all-time favorite dish is the tofu in mushroom ginger sauce; make sure you order it with coconut rice. The staff are friendly, and there’s ample seating available (although it may not seem that way from the outside). The ground floor features a second room in the back, and there’s also extra seating in the basement. While sitting downstairs might not be your first choice, it's reassuring to know you won’t be turned away e...

"this is a great place Thai restaurant that we unfortunately do not visit as much as we want. it has been an established part of my hometown hornchurch and serves fantastic Thai cuisine for many years. I am now glad to say that on Saturday we had a opportunity to visit and again eating was full of all the aromes they expect from this style of food. on Saturday we have walked on our fifteen minute walk to the heart of the city where they find the restaurant. we entered and received the usual friendly reception before we took our places. While we looked at the menu, we ordered a beautiful bottle of maison bergon 2020 a delightful French sauvignon blanc, full of citrus fruits, apple and lemongras aromas. unusual for us we decided to choose a set menu. we chose the Bangkok menu with an additional Thai salad. this started with the prawn crackers and sweet chili diving sauce. the starter was a plate consisting of chickensatai, spring rolls, huh on toast, chicken strips prawn tempura, which was all fresh, hot and full of fabulous thai aromen. we followed this with our additional plate of the yum nuar a fabulous spicy salate of cut grilled sirloin, swirl, early swirl, coriander, lemon juice, fish sauce chili flock, which I would definitely recommend. we now went to the main courses that would be with ingwer in black bohnensoße, chicken green curry, sweet with egg noodles. thai jasmin reis. the aromen and choir again complicated themselves perfectly and made every dish absolutely delicious. to finish they can have either tee, coffee or a few pots vanilla ice cream. this brought our charming Thai lunch to the end, and we hope to do again in the near future. I would highly recommend a visit here as eating is fantastic and there is always a good friendly service. also it is a long established part of our community and should be supported. many thanks for our fabulous lunch and look forward to seeing them all again soon."
