"We ate here for dinner last night, having found some great reviews on Yelp! As an Australian, I've gotten used to top notch Asian cuisines (Chinese/Thai/Filipino) that don't seem to have their match here in England! We ordered the Set Menu B for 2 people (vegetarian). The veg starter mixed platter was deep fried tofu and veg, and they came with delicious sweet and sour, peanut, and chili/peanut sauces. My favourite was the corn fritters. A+ Our mains were green curry, black magic aubergine (soy sauce stir fry), and a pad seeyu, served with jasmine rice. We added the laksa to try as well. We enjoyed the aubergine, which also had Chinese mushrooms sautéed in, giving a rich and vibrant flavour. Unfortunately, I've had much better green curry (my favourite dish normally); I felt the flavours weren't fresh, you could barely taste the hints of ginger, and the coriander seemed weak too (try making a green curry paste from scratch, and you'll see exactly what I mean). I've never made laksa, but again I felt the flavours weren't mind-blowing. My pad seeyu had an extremely dry noodle, one that was hard and inedible. Again, the taste was slightly underwhelming, even though I was constantly squeezing fresh lime juice over the bites I took. We had coconut and green tea ice creams for dessert. We loved the taste and texture of the coconut, which melted in the mouth nicely, having a few bits of coconut too. The green tea was a more sherbet-like texture. It was an extremely interesting matcha taste, but the texture missed the mark for me. When we arrived, we were one of two tables eating; by the time we left, the whole restaurant was full! A great, bustling ambience. The waiter kindly kept our bags in a little room so we didn't have to sit wth them (we'd traveled that day), so thank you for the service! Unfortunately, I won't be back here; when I eat out, it's for food that I'm passionate about, and this missed the mark for me."

This was the worst meal I have had in a very long time. Lots of grease and no flavor. Had the green curry with chicken and it tasted like rubber in milk. Save yourself and avoid this place.

This location is no longer the Thai Cafe it is now called the Pimlico Cafe, like its namesake Pimlico Underground. This is an assuming neighborhood place, that produced really good flavors, at reasonable prices, from the dishes we tried.

This place is relatively dated and the service was mediocre. However, the food was better than I expected. Main dishes are filling and decently priced. I had the phad Thai as a main and spring roles. I wouldn't necessarily suggest to visit this place but as they aren't many options for Thai food it is a good option.

Great little neighbourhood gem don't go anywhere, Thai Cafe! The food is delicious and authentic, the staff are always really friendly and it's not too pricey either. Not the livliest place to eat (everyone seems ot whisper to each other for some reason) but relaxing all the same and they do takeaway too. I'm glad to have this place on my doorstep!

My friends and I were looking for a place in Pimlico. We all really wish that we found it sooner. We ordered spring rolls, tom kha soup, pad Thai, pad see ewe, Massaman curry, and red curry with duck. Every dish was incredible from start to finish. Thai is my favorite and this place made me very happy! Additionally, the waitstaff was outstanding. Especially Ash, who was fantastic from start to finish: friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely attentive. If you're wondering if you should try it...stop reading this and get over there right now!!

I have finally found my go to Thai place! I ordered scallops for starter and pad thai for main. Scallops were good, though nothing too outstanding. However, the pad thai was the best I had ever had in London thus far! Absolutely flavourful and cooked just the right way I couldn't put my fork down by the end. Ambience was simple but clean and good. A sort of neighbourly place with not too many bells and whistles. Service was excellent. The waiter was prompt to re seat us proactively, telling us that two parties will be arriving on our either side who will most likely be noisy. He constantly came to check on us and make sure that all was good. A very friend staff overall. I'd go back in a hear...

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in London. It's nestled away in Pimlico, and it can be hard to find if you're not looking for it, but it's worth checking out. I've lived in Pimlico for years, and I only discovered it by accident a few months before I moved out of the neighborhood. It's basically between Victoria and Pimlico tube stations (it's closer to Pimlico than Victoria). It's definitely the best Asian restaurant in Pimlico. If you're a Pimlico local, it's definitely a must do. The food is great and reasonably priced. Their curries are spicy but delicious! I don't know what they put in their dry green curry (maybe I shouldn't ask), but it was amazing--and I normally prefer r...

The Have I Got News For You Table or the soft erotica table? Well the choice is yours at the fabulous little restaurant that is the Thai Cafe along with numerous other table options. The tables have been put together with newspaper clippings under a glass table top to give you some reading material outside of the menu and something to chat about with the rest of your table. It actually works surprisingly well and the theme is continued with cartoons such as Giles up the walls and then little groupings of clippings in various places on the ceiling such as presidents of the USA, with an amusingly placed cassette slapped underneath Nixon. As has already been said it's an intimate little place w...
