Our first time at the Thatch. Lovely place, absolutely delicious food and good, friendly service. I would highly recommend.

First visit ,actually made the booking on line , quick response too . We booked a lunch for 4 people . Lovely setting , nice and clean , warm welcome , great food , average prices and a nice menu, something for everyone. Recommend anybody to go , and we will be going again

Took mum there for her 95th birthday meal. We received a really warm greeting when we arrived and help with her wheelchair too, nothing too much trouble. Our starter, main meal and desert were all delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were really friendly attentive. All in all a six star rating would be appropriate. Highly recommended. Really enjoyed our Sunday lunch the food was all absolutely delicious. The cocktail menu had a wide choice to choose from the pina colada were very good We had a crayfish cocktail then roast pork The wine menu was a very reasonably priced and extensive lovely relaxed vibe the staff were all attentive and really friendly we will definitely be back

After enjoying a pleasant meal at this restaurant in the past and reading some recent reviews, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed by the overall quality of our food. The service was slow, there were few vegetables on the plate, and no sauces were offered. The dessert was small, unimpressive, and seemed commercially made.

I cannot overstate how amazing this charming village pub is. I have been for Sunday lunch multiple times and have always been impressed. Today, we celebrated my son's 1st birthday with over 35 guests, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. The communication was excellent throughout, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. Despite the challenges of hosting such a large party, the food and service were exceptional. We have been dining at The Thatch for many years, with the previous owners and most recently the new owner. However, this was our first visit since the new chef started, and I must say I was very impressed. While there was never anything wrong with the food before, the new chef has truly elevated it and is a fantastic addition to The Thatch. The service and friendliness, as always, were exceptional. I am eagerly anticipating the Christmas menu. Thank you and best wishes to all at The Thatch.

Simply fantastic! We went to the Thatch for a family birthday and it was top notch in every way. We were welcomed by the courteous staff at the door and invited to the bar taking our drinks into the sunny beer garden. Our order was taken outside and we were invited in some 15 minutes later. The meal was really tasty and the steaks were cooked as requested. Service was excellent and we never felt rushed or over pampered it was just right. Keep doing what you are doing, our new 'go to ' special occasion location!!

Just recently moved to a village nearby been to the Thatch 4 times now, so I thought it was about time to give credit where credit is due. The first 3 visits were on Sundays was recommended by our builder, we were not disappointed, hence another 2 Sundays with family in tow these times. The roasts are very tasty, meat cooked to perfection, huge homemade Yorkshire puddings, coliflower cheese to die for gravey like mum used to make, delicious. So we popped in again last night as it was the steak night Thursday. Again, the meal was to die for, very large steaks with all the trimmings, absolutely fantastic.
