Thoroughly enjoyed a birthday meal here, menu was extensive food was very good, with substantial portion size. Great service from friendly efficient staff.

Wow, what a beautiful setting and such a great pub with a fantastic lunch menu. We popped in on Saturday and the food was delicious plus, they are really dog friendly. Lovely staff too, thanks guys!

very nice pub easy from the beaten track. a little too much fat speck on the skalopps, which took over the taste and not much crab in the crab and garnelensalat, but still edible. they need the vegetarian menu as its separate to the main. good choice. it was not dessert for being too hot. good koviding measures. will you go back View menu

This pub is fantastic! The food, service, and beer are all top-notch. They offer the entire range of beers and ales from Palmers Brewery. The meals are not only excellent but also very affordable. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. I can't wait to come back soon. Don't miss the beer garden on a sunny day—it's a must!

A charming little country pub with a rustic ambiance, offering delicious food, authentic ales, and a cozy atmosphere. Although we didn't have a reservation, the staff was incredibly accommodating and welcoming to families. The homemade meals were not only tasty but also beautifully presented. I had a fantastic meal today while visiting with friends, inspired by the positive reviews on the website and TripAdvisor. They were spot on! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, serving us freshly cooked dishes that were impeccable. Turned up at opening time today without booking a table, we saw a member of staff who gave us the option to either sit inside or outside in the lovely garden. The weather being so wonderful we decided to stay in the garden. After a few moments another member of the team came and gave us a menu and took our drink order, at this point I must mention how attentive and friendly every member of the team at the Thimble Inn are. I ordered the ham eggs and triple cooked chips and my fiancee had the fish and chips we also shared a portion of onion rings. My meal was superb lean tasty hand carved ham with an excellent pineapple chutney, and possibly the best chips ever. The fish was a lovely size and...
