"Brilliant, tucked away place for walks in deep countryside. Friendliest place I've been to in years, in one day got to know owner, staff and 3 guests. Rooms as good as photos, everything working. Good top class, fine dining standard. Home made biltong a hidden gem for any Saffers. Property a real dream, thatched accommodation such a find these days. Will be back! Rooms: 5"

Excellent food and good selection of ales.. First night, very happy with the acconodation.. Now night 2, same price, but nothing has been topped up, so no coffee for coffee machine, tea coffee looking desolate, towels as we left them, no bottled water, mugs as we left them etc etc. the room has not been looked at..
