"The reviews, to put it mildly are very generous. I know the pub trade has had a tough time,,, But this pub needs help. On entry, a tired pub, with a basic selection of beers. The food menu, is grim reading, Food a teenager could whip up, warm up real easy. The best selection we made wasthe Cheesy nachos served with homemade salsa, guacamole and sour cream dip A good one to share and tasty. £7.95 My main, The unique, home-cooked 3 Shu Pie is made up of 3 different sections. In the first is bubbling cauliflower/broccoli cheese, the middle is made of creamy mashed potato with vegetables folded in and the final section is a choice of one of our delicious fillings In this case steak and Kidney all topped with a soggy Filo Pastry lid In reality, This ranks as the WORST PUB pie i have EVER been served. A 2 in one pie can work, 3 in one, No way ever. In this case, after lifting the naff filo lid, there is nothinf=g but stodge, The cauliuflower section is poor, The mash basic, and the bit you go for a meat pie, in this case steak and Kidney, total rip off, Maybe .50p of meat at most, Because its now less than a 1/3rd of the pie, it need to be damned good, the gravy runny and bland, The steak tiny sugar cude sized bits, ie i=f you took a decent sized chunk, cut it up, there would be enough for 2 pies i'd say. What brings this home was last week i was in Scarborough, And stopped at a petrol staion, Where i bought a £2 Steak pie to die for, It had 4 times the meat, And was a million times better than this £13.45 version. Sorry if sounding like a mad man, But steak and ale pies have to be right, its the law ! Our other meal was the Frozen beer battered haddock, 4/10 The Kitchen was ULTRA Slow, So if planning a get together, bring a party game or something"

Dog friendly pub which was very welcoming and with delicious food. Between us we had the pie and ham egg n chips all really good quality, in fact faultless. Definitely recommend 100%.

Popped in for Saturday lunch what a lovely pub. Clearly popular with the locals very friendly), the beer was excellent adn the Burger has to be one of the best I have had. Outstanding

We arranged an after wedding party here May 20th. We were absolutely blown away by the food and service w received. We cannot thank Jes, James and the team for looking after us. BTW the beer and Shu pies are pretty amazing too! View menu

I was served by a very rude young lady named Zoe. She was short-tempered, blunt, and made us feel very uncomfortable. This used to be our favorite local pub, but I will not be returning after my recent encounter with this unpleasant young lady.

Relatively short menu but most people come for the pies. We enjoyed ours although a touch disappointed by the quantity of meat in the large size. We would certainly return to try a different version. A couple of things to improve which are not deal-breakers. The lounge was quite cold, with no fire lit. Don't mind ordering at the bar, but nobody showed up to serve for 10 minutes: surprising as the pub was no more than half full.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend trying the 3 Shu pie, as it was absolutely delightful. My wife and daughter both enjoyed the ham, egg, and chips dish. It was refreshing to have high-quality ham instead of the usual processed variety. The pub is also very dog-friendly, which is a big plus, especially since the other pub in the village does not allow dogs. We will definitely be returning in the future. View menu

We live local and took friends there. Great service but prepared for a wait for your meals Had a great meal at local pub, with 2 friends. Sho pie and wine for 4 £74. 3 Horseshoes Frampton meals are fresh and cooked while you wait worth the wait) have a drink and enjoy the company. 4 of us had various delicious Sho pie lovely meal w ith a nice pastry top, and wine all in £74 for 4 . Friendly staff , comfortable dining area, in a lovely area. Too full for desert and definitely going again

A quaint, traditional pub on the village green. It 's style and rustic charm looks unchanged since the 70 's. This is what makes it attractive. Serving 'home-cooked ' pies rather than the usual 'chain-pub ' affairs, is certainly a welcome. We ordered a couple of beers (1.5x pints), 2x pies and 1x chips. £37. Sadly, the 'charm ' soon wore off. The pies took literally 1hr to arrive. They are nice, large and with a rustic top crust (no-sides). I believe these are called 'pot-pies '. Sadly, the pie is made up of three-quarters, mash-potato and so not really THAT good value. The remaining quarter, we had the veggie-haggis and the mushroom leek versions, was very tasty. Had there been more of this...
