"I don’t have an evening with my family very often, and when I do, I want to go somewhere nice with great food and good customer service. The booking for our table of 7 was for 7:30 and we finally sat down to order at 8:30. Ok, these things happen where other customers take their time to enjoy their meals, but when you are informed by the manager that their online system allows the venue to “triple” book, I was not impressed. Our table was in an area which was cold with the radiators turned off. After asking repeatedly to turn the heating on, they eventually did so. We sat for 10 mins chatting and looking through the menu and making the choices for our dinner. The waiter then came over to take our order and informed us that most of the choices on the menu were no longer available and we were limited to what we could have. Not a great start. The food was average and nothing special. We made the most of the evening, enjoying our family time. The waiter did his best to look after us and we thanked him for this. The management did provide our table with free wine which certainly helped and I thought this was a great way to show their understanding. The Management at The Titchfield Mill need to get their act together. Customers are the most important thing you have, and without them, you have no business. Unfortunately The Titchfield Mill is now off my list and we will not be back."

Superb food in a lovely setting. Excellent service from all staff that we encountered from the minute we walked in. Will definitely be returning and recommending others to visit.

Maybe an unlucky experience. An early Sunday lunch booking but they had run out of large parts of the menu and had issues with their soft drinks dispenser so could only provide bottled drinks.

I had a disappointing experience at Sunday dinner. The vegetables were cold, and the meat was overcooked. When we brought our complaints to the staff, they didn’t seem to take them seriously. I won’t be returning. View menu

the staff was very friendly and helpful and took care of all nutritional requirements, but we had to remind them that we were missing nicely. eating was nice, but it wasn't hot what made me fall the level of my grading in this review, which is a scandal. if they had overcome the slight failure, they would have pointed marks.

Aside from the waitress constantly checking on us and eagerly taking our plates before we were finished, my experience was somewhat lacking. When we finally completed our meal, she took away my drink even though it was half full. When I mentioned it to her, she simply shrugged and walked away. On a positive note, the cheeseburgers were delicious and very flavorful. However, my sister nearly tripped in the poorly lit parking lot as well.

We went with our friend for lunch on Saturday 12/05/18 having dined at the Mill on numerous occasions, since we moved into the area and without any issues. But this Saturday was horrendous, the first problem a person had to be moved from our reserved table (not the staffs fault) We ordered 2 x ham eggs chips (large £21.90) 1 x black pearl scallops cheesy garlic flatbread very poor indeed We will return to the Titchfield Mill but NEVER on a weekend…….. every christmas eve, we go to dinner, have wrapped the gifts, etc. the waitress was just in service and obviously had not been notified about what or not was available. there were a lot of discrepancies between the descriptions on the menu and what arrived on the plate meerte scallops that were not, inherit pure, which did not, dauphinois kartoffeln, the mashed, apfel and zimt kompote, which did not arrive until we asked how to his place of stay (and was disgusting), glazed brussels. To capture an unforgettable evening, the cappuchinos were at best warm and the dame that received my unwilling bill settlement, proudly claimed that they did. never again.

We had a business lunch at The Mill on November 23, 2018, at 12:15 PM. Unfortunately, the first item we ordered from the menu, the ale pie, was unavailable, and neither was the second choice, the fish pie. It seemed surprising that both options were out of stock, especially during lunchtime at the start of service. Overall, the meals were not well-presented; my onion rings were mushy and cold. Additionally, one of the ladies in our group was disappointed with the women's restroom, which had a broken seat and no soap. We chose not to voice our complaints that day, considering the professional nature of the lunch and to avoid embarrassing our international guest. Regrettably, we will not be re...

"We have been going to Ma Kellys for years and sadly today will be our last ever visit. Ordered our normal treat large cod and chips, front of house service no issues at all, in fact, felt extremely sorry for the young lady who had...to put up with the complaints whilst we were there. Had to wait over minutes for our food, my large cod looked like it had been in the fryer for days and was not large and had hardly any fish inside the batter and the chips were suppose to be freshly cooked but again looked like and felt they had been in the fryer for the same amount of time as the code. My other half’s large cod was extremely small and when we asked, apparently it’s now done on weight but the cod was taken back and re-arrived with the same chips but with another potion of cod. At the same time, another couple had already sent their meals back because chips and side orders were cold. I asked to speak to the manager but heard him say he couldn’t come out and then sent a young lad out but I asked to speak to the manager and an angry looking chap came out, said a half hearted sorry and my other half asked for a refund, the manager then disappeared and the same young man re-appeared to complete the refund, I sarcastically said that the manager couldn’t be bothered to complete the refund, he then decided to show up again and another half hearted apology. Two other couples were also asking for refunds. Such a shame, used to be a lovely treat for tasty fish and chips but sadly no more."
