The Washington - Menu

Visited Tuesday afternoon for lunch. Starters were ok. Main course sirloin steak for my wife and surf n turf for myself. Both were chewy and quite tasteless. The chef was drinking pints behind the servery. Won’t go back.

What a change!!! Came here few months back and it was a dive!! Came today with my partner and it has changed a lot, good atmosphere a lady playing a guitar and singing she was awesome definitely be back really enjoyed our time here.

The Washington has metamorphosed into the Rusty Saddle and the verdict is a huge hit!!! Great decor, staff wonderful, excellent menu for food, fantastic entertainment and sports matches televised. Had a fab coffee. Will have the grub soon!! View menu

After visiting this emblematic city and its historical murals, having the choice, the Washington restaurant on a Sunday afternoon was by far the best option. Mouthwatering dishes cooked from scratch. Both service and price according to the offered food. To sum up, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Went here for dinner and drinks. Good service, reasonable food comfortable surroundings. The food could have been better I agree with previous comments around blandness of the food. I had surf and turf prawns were small although tasty and the steak somewhat bland. We did start with the nachos which were excellent

Went to Washington bar and was really impressed with the new refurbishing it looks fantastic. I go every Wednesday with my sister and we new it was getting quite grubby but i must say they made a great job of it .Their food is great as also the staff .Maros is a very friendly guy and manages the place would highly recommend it View menu

Popped in for a drink and decided to see if we could get a table upstairs for a meal. Food really good and reasonably priced. Lovely decor upstairs in the restaurant and friendly and efficient staff. For 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 drinks it was around 40.00 which I thought was reasonable. Outside balcony upstairs so you could have a drink and a cigarette if you wished. Would recommend.

Visited yesterday with some friends who were visiting from America, group of 8 in total. Close convienent to their hotel, thought we would give it go, more than pleasantly surprised. The refurb looks great. Staff were attentive, food was gorgeous, big portions for starters mains, everyone was too full for desserts! All the food was well presented piping hot. Our visitors were really impressed, will definetly be recommending, good luck with the new venture!!

Our tour group had dinner here, relatively last minute and the staff at The Washington stepped up to feed 18 hungry people. They set us up at a long table down in the pub area and the manager as well as the staff worked to make our meal a good one. We had a basic menu to chose from, but had choices that suited everyone and made accommodations for one of our group who was unable to have anything from the dessert menu.
