"Have spent a nice trip round the museum we stopped for a drink and a cake. Partial to an eccles cake and since they looked homemade I had one with my coffee, the lady serving was very pleasant and told me they make their own. This was probably the best eccles cake I've ever had, spiced to perfection. I ate it, went back and bought the rest of the stock to take home. Sorry if I left none for anyone else, but I wasn't going to miss out on eating more of them. If you like eccles cakes, come here."

Had two cinnamon swirls (2.50) and cappuccino (3.20). Both really good. Nice place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee.

We took advantage of the Early Bird offer available before 11:00 which was a hot pastry and coffee. Although sold as a regular size the coffee was more than large enough.

The food and drink is expensive over £2 for a can of cola! I suppose its OK if you don't pay for admission to the museum they have to get income somehow. Food quality was OK and the premises were clean.

The cafe serves good basic cafe food (we had the leek and potato soup and the sausage rolls) and there is not a lot of choice though if you are here with a family it is solid, reasonably priced and just what you need. Lots of tables too.

We visited here before the museum and found a lovely selection of food on offer. I enjoyed a greek salad, my son had a chicken and bacon roll which he thoroughly demolished. My Mum had a tomato salad which on reflection was not the best choice as it was just tomatoes and she only ate half. Very efficient service and friendly staff.

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
