were big football fans went here 2/3 times nice beer san miguel . eat really big drink . enjoyed this place .

After years of travelling the broads i have never enjoyed s bar as much. I have more experience than anyone on the broads and know where is good and where isn’t. I will share this experience with those within my broad boating community. Kind regards,...Me Porter View menu

The beer is very affordable and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The bar is beautifully decorated and the bartender is very friendly. They offer a good variety of lagers and show various sporting events on their excellent TV screens. The restaurant is also dog-friendly.

Staying locally and went here for an evening meal. Much nicer inside than out with huge lovely beer garden out back. Menu not big and mostly pizzas but when it came it was great. One is plenty big enough for two and obviously home made....Definitely recommend and would return.

I recently attended an award ceremony for the local motorboat race club, the Closeoft and Oulton Broad Motor Boat Club, at this restaurant. It was a busy night for the two ladies working behind the bar, but they put in a lot of effort. The service was efficient and friendly, and I would definitely recommend this pub. View menu

Ordered two pizzas for lunch! Enjoyed having the tvs there to distract us from the fact we were hungry. Once the food arrived it came in pizza boxes which was cute and also the pizza was by far the best homemade pizza we had had....Only to be told the chef was of sick and the manager had actually made them! I think the manager should be a chef also cause that was incredible thankyou everyone at the waveney!

We stopped for the night and decided to have a few drinks at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I wanted a coffee in the evening, but they didn't have any available so they offered to make me a cup of tea instead. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. We will definitely be returning when we are in the area again. I highly recommend visiting The Waveney for a great night out - you won't be disappointed.

After arriving in a taxi at the wherry nice And dry the staff there gave our table away to someone that arrived after us we walked in the pouring rain to the waveney, when we arrived there were no tables available the young man (with...the should length hair) said he only had tables outside as it was under cover we decided to take the table rather then walk further in the rain. He served us with drinks and I asked if he could tell us if a table became available inside , within minutes he came and got us and took us inside . All the staff were lovely made us feel very welcome asked us if we were ok for drinks etc. This is a youngish pub and at 56 &60 we still felt comfortable we regularly use... View menu
