"Very disappointed! Booked online for service at 6:00pm. Had confirmation email and a reminder to confirm time and date. When we arrived at 5:50pm we were told that we could not be accommodated as our booking was for 7:30pm. Showed the staff the confirmatory email and there response was in my opinion underwhelming, and they did not understand what had gone wrong. The outcome was that we did not get a meal and had to alter our plans. We were looking forward to the meal as the menu looked very enticing. A pity we never got the chance to try it."

Very good lunch, my crab salad was delicious as was my wife's coronation chicken sandwich. Potions are substantial and the chips are perfect, crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. The only reason for 4* is the price, at £20 for the crab salad there...

Great Fish and Chips along with wonderful service! Was busy, even on a cold September weekday lunchtime, so make sure to book if possible. Parking: Free parking sometimes available a short walk away. Do your research before visiting for first time! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Booked into one of the Beach Huts as a treat for my wife’s birthday. Wonderfully romantic (although having a dimmer on the lights would have be even better! . Each cabin is also heated and there were rugs. Despite having a closed door on the cabin the service was excellent, as was the food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Lovely experience at this very small and intimate restaurant. Can understand why it is hard to book a table. We were lucky and got a call back after a cancellation. Much appreciated them calling us. Booking is essential in summer. Nice little restaurant, with a number of beach huts in what used to be a courtyard. Menu is mainly seafood. Starters of pate, whitebait, and a prawn cocktail . Mains seabass fillet, fish and chips large fish! , and salmon sandwiches you get two a portion generous The food is great, friendly staff service a little slow, but in fairness they were busy with most of the tables sitting down almost together.
