"Poor poor hotel not quite sure how this has 4.5 rating on here room as you can see bad floorboards not put together properly no plug for bath or sink funny loud water tank noise whenever you ran taps for anything fittings hanging out ceiling food for evening meal was poor pork belly bites dry and fatty mushroom stroganoff was nice sat at breakfast typing this apple juice so weak and coffee really poor no taste don't be fooled by the glossy photos of the new wing with nice looking rooms they also have some rooms inside the pub as pictured which are not worth the money nowhere near wifi was rubbish as well kept dropping out noisy until after 11pm for obvious reasons on the plus side the TV worked and so did the limescale filled kettle staff were very nice not there fault the place is a bit of a dump !! You have been warned full English has just arrived looks OK wouldn't stay here again even at half the price just about to press post and a leak through the roof has just started behind me unbelievable anything else WHAT A DUMP !! not sure if you can make it out in photo I have just taken."

Lovely place with friendly staff and good food. Good vegetarian options. It was quite quiet for a Saturday night but still enjoyed it. Would go again.

food was lovely as were the staff. prices average for the area. sadly the cutlery provided was dirty and they automatically add a service charge onto the bill which you have to ask to be removed. childrens play area is getting very worn now and needs replacing View menu

Stayed in a room in the main build, clean and tidy. Maybe could do with an update but is priced accordingly. No food served on a Monday which is a shame as its the day I pass through the area, so I've never got to try it. However the breakfast, English/Irish breakfast, was very good.

We booked two rooms which turned our to be outside and suited us fine. The rooms are very nice and modern. Our room though needs some work in the bathroom as there is what looks like water damage which has lifted up the worktop. The rooms could also do with a deep clean, the light fittings are very nice but do need a good dusting. And there was only 1 pillow each! The staff were all lovely and service was very good. We all really enjoyed a evening meal and the cooked breakast was plentyful and tasty. Again though, the dining area could do with improved cleaning and wiping down of seats/benches. Would we stay again, yes, but we'd would hope that the cleaning would have improved. It's not dirt...
