it's a dog-friendly pub that's great. our welpe was treated with a few doggys. they went well. the personal is nice and friendly and the decor is good. the log fire is a nice note. I had to beat a star because it's not the best. I think it's pre-set.

This restaurant is fantastic to visit. I went for a Valentine's meal and it was great. It is a family-owned place with a menu filled with your favorite dishes, all made with homemade quality. The staff were very friendly. This was my first visit since the restaurant changed hands and reopened.

The pub has changed hands since my last visit and the menu was a lot less interesting. Having said that it may be because of the Covid situation and the things on offer were quite acceptable for lunchtime. We ate outside and the service was pretty good, my friend was offered tuna without the mayo on her jacket potato when she said she didn't like it with mayo. My chicken and bacon Caesar wrap was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. The beer selection was not inspiring but my draught Bass was better than I remembered it being. I would definitely go again as they are trying hard, but would like more food and beverage options when the situation improves. View menu
